All I remember is Polock Johnny's "UN-burger" with onions and relish.

Oh man, this thread is going places!
Racial jokes aren't dead, just in the shadows in today's PC society.
I can't really see someone publishing a whole book of them these days. Maybe some sort of underground publication, but is sperading racial jokes around really worth printing and binding books?

The Truly Tasteless Jokes books were staples in my adolescent years.

It's hard to branch out and find a whole new group to direct offensive jokes toward.
Maybe welfare mothers or crack babies. Singling out a whole nation is kind of passe.

Jesus, do you EVER leave the Unabomber shack you call a house?
"Dirty/racial/tasteless" jokes books are alive and well. Most of the classic editions are still in print and sell insanely well.

i attended a class with a Polish guy who was in the country a short time. we got to telling jokes and it was a learning experience for me because the 'russians' were the brunt(?) of his jokes. i told him all my Polish jokes but replaced Polish with Russian and he laughed his asski off....

Sometimes you'll see a rack of these books, one-a those racks that spin around.
There will be books of Polish jokes, Irish jokes, Belgian jokes, Chinese jokes, jokes about men, women, old people, blacks, Italians, and Greeks, to name a few.
They all have exactly the same jokes in them and are all written by Blanche Knott.

But how is that possible in our horrible, horrible PC society where eveyone is offended ahead of time?

Polish jokes were never as funny after that guy's whole family starved to death in their car after he locked them in there with the keys.

The Polish jokes seem to have slowed down after Solidarity and the eventual fall of Communism in Europe. The jokes didn't go away, they just morphed into "Blond" jokes.

Blonde jokes suck in comparison. They're an example of the pussification of America.
