Gray's Papaya OR Papaya King

Okay, we know Gray's is clearly the better value (2 dogs and a drink for $2.45), but when it comes down strictly to who makes the better hotdogs and drinks, who's your pick?

I go with Grays.

Gray's Papaya isn't dirty water dogs. They're laid out on one of those metal bar grill thingies. And it's funny, because Gray's doesn't hide the fact that their dogs are food for poor people. In fact, they pride themselves on it. There's a big sign in their 72nd St. location that says something along the lines of "Hungry and broke? Try Gray's Papaya!"

I had to drop a friend of at JFK, which means I drove back into the city to go to Gray's Papaya again. That's two times in as many days and I live about an hour outside Manhattan.

By the way, I stopped off at Junior's in Brooklyn on the way home to get a cherry cheesecake. (great)
