Well? Do you? I just sauteed some with
some garlic and butter. I love them.

They're always the butt of bad-food jokes,
but why? Are they really that unpopular?

Do more people dislike them than do say,
broccoli?

I can honestly say that I have not had Brussels Sprouts in over 20 years. When I was in Brussels several years ago, I wondered if I would find them common. They weren't.

i picked 'okay'... can't recall eating them much so i'm gonna assume i had them but they didn't make a big impression.

question: does Brussel mean they are mostly from or originated in Brussels?

if they're prepared correctly, they can be very tasty.

they don't smell bad as long as you don't overcook them, or if you boil them they are very mild. I like to boil them before I sautee or whatever.

No, they're from Iran/Afghanistan/that general area. They were brought to Europe, but were particularly popular in Belgium.

I think it's all in how they're prepared. The way my mom makes em they're great.

no, but then again my parents subscribe to the whole 50's boiled to death method. I've seen some on foodtv.com (alton I think had some) that I might consider.....

My dad instilled a deep dislike for brussel sprouts in me. I've only tried them once and found them to be bitter, but I think I was predisposed to dislike them.
