When I log on here, the first thing I do is click "message board", and then go to "Today's active discussions". For me, it's the quickest and easiest way to see which threads have new posts since my last login. In fact, I wish there was a "Today's active discussions" button on the left margin so I could reach it in one click instead of two.

Does anyone else use this as their preferred method of site navigation?

or thats the way it seems...

Snoogs tried to get me to use this thing, but I just don't.

I like to go in each topic, cause sometimes I'll see an old topic I feel like adding shit to.

I always use it. I hate when I log in after midnight (like now) and I have to go through all those different forums.

I have a direct link to the messageboard in my links at the top of my browser. http://www.ronfez.net/messageboard/index.cfm?requesttimeout=60

I then view all the most current topics in each forum by title and if one of them interests me I click on the link to the thread. Otherwise I start from top to bottom in the forums and look for subjects I either haven't read yet, or ones I have that have more responses.

Unless I'm planning to post a new topic then I just go right to that forum and begin the new topic.

I do -- but later I check the individual forums to see if there were any interesting threads I may have overlooked.

My link to the board take me to the page the the last 10 responses. I click on one of those and then scroll to the bottom of it and go to gemas and sports. When im done looking around there I just work my way down skipping Old School and Ask the Oracle.

At midnight all threads are dead to me. I only respond to the ones that eventually appear on today's active discussion.

Unless I'm really bored.

I just go through each forum I have time for... General Disc, Off Topic, Lounge, Confessional, ect.
Plus the "last time you visited" labels on the side of each thread are usually innacurate for me.
