SNL's Schmitt's Gay Beer skit with no Van Halen?!?

I was watching SNL on Comedy Central and they just
played the Schmitt's Gay Beee skit with Chris Farley and
Adam Sandler taking care of someone pool.

When Adam turned on the water I was waiting for that
kick ass Van Halen (not Van Hagar) music to kick in but
sadly it's been replaced with some crappy generic Van
Halen wanna be music.

Sucked ass.

Was the music changed due to copyright/royalties issues or
was Van Halen not comfortable with the Gay thing being
used with their music?

If I'm not mistaken it was "D.O.A." and "Beautiful Girls"
that was originally used.

they probably dropped the song from home sales and re-runs, so not to pay royalties to the halen brothers ..... that or eddie is a homophobe and didn't want his song associated with men parading around in swim trunks .....
