I'm going to Ireland and Scotland with a few of my friends. Its sponsered by my school and they do it pretty much every year. I've always wanted to go to Ireland and I was wondering whats the best thing to do in those 2 places.

haha. I wish but no. I don't think my friend would go for that. But I could get her drunk legally and then do the deed. What happens in Ireland stays in Ireland.

Cliffs of Moher - County Clare
Gallaghers (Fish and Chips) - Galway
Trinity College - Dublin
Temple Bar - Dublin
Post Office - Dublin
Crown Pub - Belfast
Guinness Brewery - Dublin
Giants Causeway - Antrim
Take a drive in the countryside of Donegal (awesome)
King Johns Castle - Limerick (if you've ever seen Angela's Ashes there are a lot of shots of the city)
Eat fish and chips, have a kebab, try a traditional breakfast, drink lots of beer and talk to everyone
That's what I can think of off the top of my head.

I spent 6 weeks in Scotland abot 10 or 12 years ago and loved it.
I regret not going into the far north of the country where there is some delightfully bleak country.
Take more money than you think you'll need.
I'd strongly reccomend that you pick up a nice Harris Tweed sportcoat. You can get them there for much less than over here and I've seen some lovely ones in small roadside stores as well as clothing stores.
I banged a fabulous Scottish gal with flaming red hair. She was superb.
Be on your best behavior, always act as if you were a guest in someone's home and adapt to them and their ways of doing things.
Good luck!

I've been to both, but I was a wee one at the time, so I'd say escape and go to London. It's better.
If you stay, I hope you're mounted by the Loch Ness Monster.

Go to that fucking castle in Scotland. I went there. In Ireland I love Killarney 'cause it reminds me of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and I like Galway, too! And Dublin is cool. Shit I loved them all! I like the pint glasses and I like the pub! I'm a Mick-Scot, you see? And I like that, too!

ok, do you understand that the north of Ireland is part of the UK and therefore subject to diffrent laws than the Rep of Ireland? Co Clare is in Munster, not Ulster.

My parents went to Ireland and came back with authentic Irish beer brewed only in that speific town. (or so they said) I have not seen it anywhere in beer or liquor stores.
I was thinking about bringing a can and having beer shots with it at thge Xmas party.

Bowie, Md.: Berkeley, I'm so glad you're back!; I've really missed The Far Side all these years.
Berkeley Breathed: Yes, thank you, but I don't draw Far Side. I draw Calvin and Hobbes.

yes I do that's why when Clare said that she drank at 17 in Northern Ireland I answered the question using the laws of Northern Ireland.
Her refering to the origin of her name was a seperate statement and that why I never discussed the Republic.
thanks for not clarifying anything, and making me explain a post that a retarded monkey could've understood.

Oddly enough for me, I don't like visiting castles. I love history, Medieval history in particular, but visiting castles just seems boring.
