Do you press or say?

When you're on the phone calling somewhere where you have to deal with an automated system, some of them give you the option of pressing a button for the option you want or saying the option. Which do you usually do? I always press the button for the option. I do this whether I'm calling a credit card company or places like UPS where I have to give them a long series of numbers.
