I believe the current policy towards Marijuana is flawed and it may be time for a change. One of the things we can do is add a high tax to Marijuana and turn that money back to the people. To the school systems, to aid small buisness owners struggeling to survive, and to help support are homeland security units across the country.

Well this is an issue I feel very seriously about, make no mistake about that. But this isnt just an American problem, it's a global problem. Something the current administration has done is seperated itself from these other nations instead of embracing them and working hand in hand with these countries.
We need to finish what we started in Afganistan. We have suceeded in defeating the Taliban but there is still much left to be done in that country. And most importantly we need to stop putting billions of dollars into an empty war, stop the killing, bring our boys home, and put the money in our homeland security where it needs to be spent. I support air marshalls on all flights that enter U. S airspace. We need to start taking a better look at the security of our railroad system and out reactors and other landmarks around the country. We need to start inspecting the thousands of containers that enter our seaports on a daily basis. We need to start tracking down visitors with expired visas and most of all, we need each and every citizen of this country to be aware of their environment..

That a good question, and I'm glad you asked it. Perhaps I need to clarify and expand on that statement. When I speak of bringing the boys home, I'm speaking of Iraq. We need to stop funding a war against people that have not shown any real threat to us. This war was based on half truths and mis-information AND without the support of the global community. In the meantime we have the forgotton issues in Afganistan, a country that is a known threat to our national security and our way of life in this country today. I read a report the other day that says the production of poppy fields has grown from 4,210 acres in 2001 to a totally unacceptable 152,000 acres at present time. We have Warlords rulling entire sections of Afganistan and the current administration has done nothing to stop it and the end result is an endless amount of resources needed to fund terrorism and to do unthinkable acts to innocent people. We ousted the Taliban but have not givin the new govt the support it needs to rule its own country! So instead of having govt supported illegal actions taking place, we now have the same action taking place on on even greater scale, and the govt can do nothing to stop it. Our efforts would be much better served if we put more boots on the ground in Afganistan and focused our afforts towards the people that focuse their efforts against us.
