Washington DC's Uptown Theatre is going to be screening LORD OF THE RINGS: THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING (EXTENDED VERSION) for one week, December 5-11, followed by LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS (EXTENDED VERSION) for four days only, December 12-15.
The Uptown is also the only DC area theatre that will be doing the all day LOTR-a-thon, leading into the third movie, RETURN OF THE KING. THis sold out in 30 minutes last month.
Tickets for the week long engagements, as well as the regular engagement of RETURN OF THE KING, are on sale now.
I'm sure The Senator Theatre in Baltimore will also be doing this. Does anyone know of any other theatres that will be doing these special week long screenings?
