View Full Version : TNA rumor. Is it true?

I heard Insane Clown Posse is joining TNA? Is it true? If so, why? These guys have less talent than a bag of rocks. Maybe they can bring in the oddities too. Another reason why TNA is like the island of misfit toys.

That is a strong rumor going around because of the comment made by Violent J on his website, insaneclownposse.com:
"Maybe me and Shaggy Balls will join TNA-NWA Wrestling every Wednesday night from
Nashville, and help an old friend and a new friend beat some ass, maybe. Wrestling fans
you know what I mean."
Hmmm... Vampiro is the old friend and former JCW champion in Nosawa? Maybe Raven and the Dead Pool.
...
It has been rumored but they are not half that bad. This would add another dynamic in the tag division if on a permanent basis and they have pretty decent talent in JCW.
I'll see what I can get concerning this currently hot rumor.

TNA doesn't need them, they shouldn't want them.
If they truly wanted a Dead Pool reunion, they should try and hammer out some sort working arrangement with All Japan (although I'm sure TNA's new buddies in New Japan wouldn't be too thrilled) for Muta to work a few dates.
Or maybe I'd just like to see Kawada come in and decimate Jarrett for the title.

They were backstage but not used. I thought it would have been perfect for them to take out 3LK when they opened the show with that awful and repetitive singled remix of their very own.
Although we have some ICP bashers they can bring in some loyal, loud and rauchous (sp?) fans. If this helps TNA I am absolutely for it. Did you see them at the PPV? I haven't heard the crowd that alive since the days of S.E.X. and the Heel and Extreme Sections!

When I saw those fans in the background, I honestly thought that Vampiro was there and he was going ot be Raven's mystery partner....
I doubt ICP would really add anything to TNA, they did nothing when they were in wCw and WWE (though the Oddities song is cool)

I still think the short term deal with the ICP and possibly some of the JCW talent like Nosawa would be good for TNA.
Also again, they have many loyal fans that improve the overall TNA Asylum and presentation on PPV.
Again I say, give it a chance.

The rumors are true. Here they come:
Hey all of you Juggalos and Juggalettes, we know that all of you out there are huge into the murderous mayhem that happens every day in the squared circle of sports entertainment. I'm talking about wrestling; hard knocks, power slams, high flying suicide flips... the works! We know all of you are into it because we see you on the TV, reppin' the hatchet at every show, at every venue... espescially on NWA-TNA! We see you all on NWA-TNA every week and the time for watching you show the Hatchet Family love on TV is over... it's time to take part in it! To be there, in person, with all of those Juggalos and Juggalettes that are crazy down with the madcap action that we all love so much. So, on Wednesday the 21st, every Juggalo wrestling fan in the Nashville, Tennessee area will definately want to get to the NWA-TNA Pay-per-View Event at the Asylum to take part in the biggest Psychopathic Tailgating Party that ever existed! Violent J, Shaggy 2 Dope, and the Rude Boy are all going to be heading on down to the Tennessee State Fairgrounds early for the event, and they want all of the Hatchet Family to be there with them! Bring all your BBQ effects, all your drinks and snacks; the Insane Clown Posse and the Rude Boy are bringing theirs, as well as a few shirts they'll be tossing out to the homies that want to take part in this mini-gathering of wrestling fanatics! As I said, the time for watching is over... come on down on the 21st of this month and hang with ICP, the Rude Boy, and all of your homies, get your snacks on, take a few photos, and have a blast way before the madness and the mayhem of the Pay-per-View even starts! It's going to be insane!

Tell me you did not enjoy the ICP and the freakin' Juggalos last night! They livened up the Asylum (although too much ICP chants) and the wrestlers themselves were energized.
I loved when Jarrett went off on the ICP and the Juggalos and the ICP intervened in only the way the ICP could! HA!

Just checked my email and I got an email from one of my main sources in TNA and told me that the Juggalos were a little too into the show and started throwing bottles and other items around the ring. That can't be a good thing.
Maybe I spoke too soon about the positivity of the ICP and a possible TNA deal. But it seemed better on television.

I don't get ppv, so I didn't see last nite's TNA, but the ICP has never, ever contributed anything positive to wrestling, with the Oddities theme as the one exception.

The Juggalos were well behaved this time around and the ICP cut a great promo (nice intro and video btw). And tell me you didn't enjoy Gilberti get taken down a peg by the ICP?
Also the use of a band from their label Psychopathic Records, Twiztid for a video package is also an improvement for TNA. Hopefully more bands from their label will be used to liven up the TNA boring video packages.
I am pleasantly surprised. ICP is a positive in TNA thus far.

I finally saw last week on a replay. Everything bad I said about ICp, times that by 1000. They absolutely positively suck. They are the worst thing for wrestling. They can't talk, they cannot wrestle. They are a complete waste of space. That segment was an embarassment. Put it this way I would rather see an iron man match between mae young and mark henry than those 2 pieces of crap.

I still enjoyed it and the majority of the originally pessimistic TNA fans have pretty much sided with the ICP and the Juggalos. I am Down with the Clowns!
...
Eric, you can have your opinion but I like their addition to the TNA PPV although they went a little long and took away time from "total nonstop action."
