Going shopping on Friday?

I go grocery shopping this friday because the Supermarkets are empty. I just skate around with my cart like a Tom & Jerry cartoon.

My youngest who is 2 fell in the playground last friday and got 9 stiches just above his eye (2 underneath and 7 on the outside.) So after driving 2+ hours tomorrow to have Thanksgiving at my brothers we will all pile back in the car to return and have them out on Friday. The Dr. is only available Fri. and I was told if we wait until Monday the chance of scarring increases. I was actually tempted to take them out myself just so I could sleep late and maybe catch a movie. Does that make me a bad person?

no shopping for me.. im participating in BUY NOTHING DAY 2003.

i will do all of my shopping online and at mom and pop shops this year. im trying to cut down supporting mega-corporations.

Nope. I hate shopping. But I'm heading out to Maryland to visit relatives.

Can you believe some stores open really really early for the Big Sale after Thanksgiving! When my sis went to Kentucky to visit her friend, they went to Wal-mary at 4 or 5:30 in the morining! Me, I'd be in bed sleeping, keeping away from the crowds and all that hassle.

Well, I was about to jump on the 'Malls Suck' bandwagon, but if you scroll down and read that list there are some serious bargains! I really don't care about saving money [that's a fault of laziness, not a gloat], but seeing some of these prices = wow!

Cool list too; I can stare at catalogs of stuff for hours; that's me, the catalog shopper guy. Well, I don't usually look with others in mind, just my 'Wow I really need this, even though its $600 now and will be maybe $150 in 6 months' Sharpie to circle all the goods.

TooCute, I'll pick you up 5:30am. Unless you want an early start.
