Who will be the one who blows the WWE away with both size, talent, in and out of ring abilities and just all in all presence on TV and at house shows?

I think John Cena could be the next big thing if the WWE pushes him the right way. Undoubtedly his gimmick works better with him being the megaface.

At this point, Cena. He's got average ring skills, but he's got lots of charisma & is good on the mike.

Outside of him, I don't see ANYONE else really stepping up and making something out of themselves. Oh, they'll push Orton on us, but I don't think he'll be the "next big thing".

I'm talking about younger stars that the WWE is pretty much breeding out of OVW. I am sure that next year will be the year of Benoit.

Spicy, then it has to be Matt Morgan. He seems that he has all the tools right now although he has not talked on the mic yet.

You haven't seen enough of Matt Morgan and you are talking smack? Please hate... pay attention to your SD! next time. He will be very good, very soon. Um, read what Spicy said... " younger stars that the WWE is pretty much breeding out of OVW"

Matt Hardy is finally getting a well deserved push
and Booker T and Y2J... well Vince ran out of ideas for them? Nothing more you could say about that one.

At least Y2J gets to make out with Trish on-air. COME ON!

I heard that WWE Agents were really impressed that Matt had remembered all the stuff he had went through in Tough Enough II and was still building upon it by tryin out for OVW. That's where he started getting better and his in-ring skills are gradually becoming more impressive to them. He needs to work with more guys, and then work his way up to main event stuff, much like they're doing with Orton right now. Once he gets the "WWE style" down, he'll be main eventing in no time.

With all due respect to Mark, I HAVE seen enough of Morgan to talk smack about him and frankly, I'm not optimistic that he's going to get very good very soon.

He's incredibly green, and bottom line, there is nothing - outside of his size & look - that justifies him being on the main roster yet, let alone prominently featured on Smackdown. Anyone and everyone on Velocity - including the dull and bland Orlando Jordan - is more polished and "ready" than he is, and thus more deserving of his spot.

I have little problem with the WWE pushing young guys, providing they're the right guys (i.e. Cena) and not the wrong ones (Morgan, Orton, etc.).

You guys do remember this guy was on Tough Enough II right? He knows what to do and how to do it. He's been in OVW enough to get a great sense of the ring. Isn't it possible that he may be working with the wrong people to be shown his legitimacy, if that is a real word?

When Micheal Shane gets a WWE contract , he will exceed his cousin's success. For people on the current roster it will be Orton, Batista, Cena definately. Hopefully the cruiser weights get their due and Spanky, London, Dragon, and Mysterio make it to the main event.

You guys do remember this guy was on Tough Enough II right? He knows what to do and how to do it. He's been in OVW enough to get a great sense of the ring.

What are you basing that on?

Some people - like Orton, for example - had been in OVW for quite some time but he's no great worker. Hell, John Cena is considered by many to be the "next big thing", but if you look at his actual ring ability, he's *okay* - not fantastic, probably just good enough.

There are some, like me, who aren't thrilled with the product from OVW. For every Shelton Benjamin or Brock Lesnar that they turn out, there's a two or three average to below-average workers. [I would postulate as well that guys like Lesnar, Haas & Benjamin are only superior because of their amateur wrestling background.]

And as far as Morgan is concerned, rumor is that he was rushed onto TV - before he was ready - by the Smackdown bookers simply for fear that RAW would get him over them.

Isn't it possible that he may be working with the wrong people to be shown his legitimacy, if that is a real word?

In the few matches he's had on TV, he's been paired off with Benoit & Angle. They certainly aren't the wrong people. Hell, poor Shannon Moore bumped his ass for him.

He is only in TNA because of his relation to HBK. He stinks on the mic and medicore at best in the ring although he luckily has held the X-Title and what is worst, he is the longest X Champion in the short history of TNA! He is in the New Franchise but I don't think that the Franchise can work a miracle on him.

Let's face it - Shane is best left to tag team wrestling, where his strengths can be exploited and his weaknesses compensated for.

Who would you say is better though, Morgan or Nathan Jones? I think we all know the answer to that one.

I have been wrong in the past like the time I said "Hulk Hogan vs Andre at WMIII, who's going to buy a ticket for that?", "Stone Cold? 3:16? Yeah, like that'll ever catch on" , " Greg Gagne: Superstar".
With Micheal Shane it's just a gut feeling. He has the doors open for him and I think in a couple of years he'll be a breakout.

Nathan Jones is one of the alltime worst wrestlers I've ever seen. Not THE worst, because I've seen those who are even more awful than him, but good lord, he's bad.

It's kind of a shame for him, too - he's about 20 years too late. If he had been around 20 years ago, Vince would have pushed him to the fucking moon as the mother of all monster heels.
