i was just watching the Clemson/S Carolina game and while the offense was standing around in the huddle an offensive lineman reached his arms to the guys on each side of him and patted their butts...

not the big 'congrat slap' for scoring a TD but just a nonchalant pat, almost a little caress...

it may be homophobia but i found it to be something other than a 'sports moment'...

and how do you feel about getting patted on the ass by a teammate or coach?

to me it's not necessary, the head, back or shoulder can suffice...

Anyway, back on topic. I wouldnt let it happen to me, because even if I didnt feel it was a "bad touch" pat on the ass, others might. Then rumors start, I become the gay guy, and I end up slitting my writs and killing a few people.

i guess you never played much organized sports. Not only is it normal but its expected. Its the only time you can touch another mans ass and get away with it. Remember only organized (with a referee) sports. Don't go out on the campus lawn and start slappin asses. You'll get your ass kicked.

I remember when I was about 6 or 7 playing for my little leauge allstar team(everyone made the damn team) I really had to take a piss. Of course it was the middle of the game and I guess I had a weak bladder and I pissed myself and I walked off the field and the coach patted me on the ass. I was so worried that he would feel the wetness, luckily he didn't.
