maybe i'm the only deadbeat who's home like everyday at 3, but this show is pretty good. I constantly get the theme song stuck in my head and it's Scooby Doo for godsake!!! You'd think it would suck because they kinda tried to modernize it, but it's actually the goods. That's my verdict.

I hope it is the old Scooby Doo. I'm talking about the 1969-1972 series. Where the villans were ghosts and zombies. Scooby and Shaggy always had to lure them into a trap, and every episode ended with "I could have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for you meddling kids".

My sisters watch, and sometimes I watch it, but none of those new epesodes, the story lines have been used way to many times. There are only so many times when a ghost can protect a dead man's estate.

I caught 5 minutes of it last week and Velma actually said "I never thought I'd see the day I'd see Scooby Doo jump the shark."
Fuck that, Scrappy was when Scoobs jumped the shark.

"Scooby-Doo" was never good in ANY form except as some kind of absurd, played-out, post-slacker, alterna-ironic, pop culture schtick. It was just on so many goddamn times a day that we were brainwashed into tolerating it as kids.
