Enough of the comic book superhero bullshit movies already. The dorks have had their time in the sun.


Considering how well most (excluding The HULK and Dardevil)of the story's have been written and ACTED, I think their run is still strong. X-men was very good....X-men2 was even better. And Spiderman kicked MAJOR ass. I cannot wait for Spiderman 2 next May.
But I have serious reservations about this new Batman....After Keaton it went ALL downhill.

i understand what you're saying but i dont think it wouldve gone over very well with audiences if spider-man accidentally kills gwen stacey while trying to save her life. and if you were to actually show the gwen stqacey storyline the movie wouldve had to be at least 3 hours, spidey had to find out who the goblin was first, then the goblin had to find out who spidey was, and then he has to negate peter's spidey sense, and why am i telling you this? u know it all.

Why do people still think those first two "Batman" films aren't horrible messes? Outside of Nicholson as the Joker and the overall visual style, the films themselves were abominations.

Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne and Batman, I believe. He's complex enough.

Anthony Hopkins possibly as Alfred, I can see it happening.

Dennis Quaid as Commissoner Gordon, definitely there.

I would want to see John Malkovich as Ra's Al Ghoul. He's the one considered for the role and I can't really think right now who else would be good. I'm sure there are others.

What I would like to see is Monica Belucci as his daughter. She definitely would fit the part.

The rumor is that the opening of the film would be Batman going after the Scarecrow, who I don't know should be played by, but that would have a strong opening to the film, and let the dark theme take over.

As for anything else, I'm glad to report that there will be no Robin, no Batgirl, and no female trying to get into Bruce's pants. But Batman trying to get into Belluci's wouldn't be a bad idea.
