Some people should recognize the name, if not, i'm sure most of you will recognize his accomplishments.

You can't land on the moon and go "fuggin' 'ell, i been in that space craft; alright, i need a piss."

I have a few of his soundtracks, he was a great composer, though Danny Elfman is my favorite.

You know him. He was the conductor on Metallica's "S&M", and has worked with Pink Floyd on "The Wall", Queensryche's "Silent Lucidity", Roger Daltrey's orchestral tribute to Pete Townshend, among many others. He also did the soundtrack to "Lethal Weapon"

Very sad, and only 55.
R.I.P. :(

Take it easy Clarky

What a shame. He was very talented. Rest in Peace Michael.
