View Full Version : Matt Hardy/Lita/Christian Love Triangle?

So Matt makes his long-awaited return to Raw on Y2J's Hightlight Reel to Lita's shock and happiness. Matt says that he is glad to be back on RAW since his SD! contract expired and appeared to propose to Lita when... Molly comes out acting like Raven, "What about meeee! I am the champion... blahahaha..." Y2J suggests that Matt and Lita team up to fight Molly and a male partner of her choosing. She picked Bischoff?
Backstage, Molly talks to Eric who thinks this is a stupid idea. But he comes up with a plan... if they win, Lita is fired but if they lose Molly has to give Lita a title shot.
Match happens and after a few minutes of Lita getting pummeled she is about to make the hot tag to Matt but he leaves the apron and stands looking sternly at Lita. Lita confused and hit from behind loses and is fired from RAW! Matt gets back in the ring and explains that after Lita got fired from RAW the first time she could have went to SD! but didn't and then when she was recovering from her neck injury she was not there. Matt said she put her wrestling career over him?!? It's over! Poor Matt... and Lita leaves an even more saddened as before.
Backstage as Lita is leaving with her luggage and dog she is confronted by Christian. Lita says she does not need his nonsense right now but an oddly sensitive Christian says that he used his "favor" that was given to him by Bischoff at the beginning of RAW to get her job back. Christian helps her with her bags and they seem to be "buddy-buddy" as they disappear turning a corner. He didn't make a snide comment or look at the camera to affirm or deny his actual intentions.
Do you think this is still Christian trying to "get in her pants" or is he legit this time? Start of a Matt vs. Christian feud, possible.
DISCUSS.

I really like this angle going on, having Lita in his corner will be huge for Christian and a feud with a heel Matt will be great.
I'm also digging Trish and Jericho, that angle's working out good.

Ahhh Y2J and Trish's relationship and that liplock from last night.... really intrigues me.
Everyone right now should be saying, "GO JERICHO GO!"

I was going to, but then you demanded it, so now I'll just leave a couple pithy comments.
Christian needs a good angle, besides being Y2J's sidekick. This could be it.
What Jerry said.

The only thing I'm wondering is if Trish will now turn heel, or will Jericho turn face?

I should hate the Jericho / Trish angle, because it represents the pure soap opera nature of the WWE.
But I can't.
One, it's Jericho, so part of me must love it.
And two......it's Jericho. Jericho makes pretty much everything he's given good, and lord knows, he isn't given much. The man's unbelievable - he's been in at least a half dozen feuds and angles in the past 6 months and he's carried ALL of them.

Am I the only person who thinks that the Mr. Nice Guy act Christian put on last night was only done to shut up the fans who've complained about him coming across as "too creepy?"
Am I the only one surprised that, during his tirade against Lita, Matt didn't announce that he was now with a newly deflowered Molly Holly? What better way to get back at your mortal enemy than to give up your virginity to her boyfriend.

three things:
1. me and all the peeps approve of this.....
2. the should keep Matt's SD! entrance
3. Good to see they kept the right Hardy (the one that doesn't look like he's on the smack)

This has to be the strongest angle going on Raw right now and I just hope when its over all of the participants don't go back to mid-card hell. These guys are the definite future of the business with Jericho being the anchor of course.
I really like how the heel/face of Jericho and Christian is being left up in the air. I like that kind of suspense becasue it makes your (fans) reactions more spontaneous. One would think that there will be a screw job coming because of the nature of Jericho and Christian but it hasn't happened yet. Will it? That mystique really helps push the storyline.
Now if they can incorporate good story writing into more angles and the main event angles (No that could NEVER happen. Could it?) there maybe a turn around on the horizon.
Providing Kane doesn't find any corpses to fuck in the next couple weeks.

Nice twist with the Jericho/Trish Christian/Lita angle and all for a looney too but I swear...
...this goes for TV shows and movies as well...
If you are going to try as hard as you can to make us believe you are crying about something, ANYTHING, let's see some tears!!!!!!
TEARS!!!! Water!! Saliva!!!! Flushed face!!!!! Something to make it a tleast seem like you are really rying. All the sniffles and GASP's in the world won't make me buy it unless there is something resembling a tear. Damn it all.

I was thoroughly disappointed with this angle. Now what will they do with Y2J and Christian. They have no real feuds for Armageddon. They are both heels.
I'm still holding out hope that this angle turns out that although Y2J was doing this as a bet ala She's All That eventually he has real feels for her and they come back together... say by New Years.
I am a sucker for happy endings. :D

I think that will happen too. I hope he was just trying to show face to Christian. Will probably lead to a feud with the Creepy Little Bastard

I love how the bet was for "one canadian dollar" and I think we'll see some big revenge from trish on tape next week's highlight reel that happened "later that night"

They had better find someway to continue this that involves Jericho & Trish getting back together.
As is, they've already blown what could have been WEEKS of steady buildup.
This angle is a half-second away from going into the rather large "WWE angles that could have been great but were royally fucked up" pile.
