She didn't jus try it a few times. I think she does it often. When I asked her if she would stop she said, "I can't." Whatever that means. She drinks too. But I can deal with the drinking because everyone does that(except for me).

When I was in highschool I was the same way as you. Alas, I am no longer the judgemental saint that I was. I can relate to your post well, so here is my advice. She may be "perfect" but do yourself a favor. Hang out with her, bang her or whatever and get over it. You are not going to marry this girl and i am sure the relationship will not last longer than a few months. Then we you are the ripe old age of 21, you can look back and remember how you banged a hot chick. I dated a girl liked this. I HATED that she smoked weed. It drove me NUTS and I always tried to get her to quit. It never happened, we broke up, but I can look back remember what a hot piece of ass and great lay she was. As long as you do not comprimise your morals to ger here, by drinking or smoking weed, then I say go for it. Let us know what happens though.

Keith, I very much respect you for standing by your principles. When I was your age, I made a bunch of "rules" about people I dated. As you grow older, you realize people aren't always "perfect" (no one is!!!). People have their vices. It just depends on what you're willing to tolerate.

If the pot smoking REALLY out-weighs your interest in this girl, then don't pursue it. At the same time, it doesn't make her a "bad person." I'm currently head-over-heels over someone who smokes cigarettes. I hate cigarette smoke, but I think he's an awesome person and he's polite when he smokes.

I'm just saying, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Give it a shot.

but i don't think keith wants to get high, and that's not just something that you make a 180 degree turn on. I don't smoke pot (or drink or smoke or do any other drugs for that matter), but I have no problem with people smoking it around me and therefore leave the possibilities open. I don't think its a good quality and ultimately i don't think that regular pot smokers can actually straighten their lives out to the point where they can have normal relationships. That's my opinion. But if this fell in my lap at 15, i would do everything in my power to fuck this girl without having to sacrifice my principles because there's a 99% chance that this won't get serious.. So I'd suggest to keep trying to pursue something with this chick without actually having to do something you don't wanna do.

I'd have to disagree and choose "Let's go back to my place so we can powder our noses" as the most fool proof method. I always felt marijuana would hurt your chances in trying to get laid. Getting stoned (when I was still smokin') after you bang is much better, in my opinion of course.

on the note your asking, weed is fine. tell me the last time you heard a guy smoking weed and then he went home and smacked around his chick. NEVER. weed is less harmful than alcohol, prob less harmful than cigarettes assuming people dont drive stoned(hahahaha). but damn dude, if you like this chick that much, what does it matter if she smokes. you prob drink, or will by the time you get to college, and you prob will end up smoking weed at least once. relax and dont be so uptight or close minded.

There are alot more important things in people like how they act or honesty and what not thats alot more important than them doin something that doesnt effect you in anyway

but stop sterotyping. assuming anything about a person because they smoke weed is the same as assuming anything about someone cause they are jewish or black or gay or whatever. ive met some people in my life who take all kinds of drugs, and become big assholes. i know people who dont take any and are big assholes.
i know people who dont and are cool, and i know people who smoke weed who are cool, and smarter than most people who dont. do me and you a favor, and judge people from now on on a individual basis based on them.

i know that, but still saying im totally against that stuff and questioning hanging out with someone who does it shows that you really do look down on those people a little, even if its subconsciously.

do i break the law, sure. but ya know what, take all the drug money out of the US economy, and this country would fold in about 2 weeks. plus my law breaking doesnt effect anyone but me, for i dont steal drugs or money for them, and the people i get them from are people just like that. no one is gettin robbed or hurt. and if you really wanna go this angle, then judge every single person with a license cause you know they broke the speed limit at some point :)

Thank you, Keithy. And yes it was a mini-Locky; as Mikey and I had a sit-down dinner the other night to discuss the parameters of a true Locky. I would like to say the sit-down was much in the fashion of Vito Corleone sitting down with Tartallia and Barzini and the other heads of the Five Families but I don't recall Don Corleone ever drunkenly deciding to put a napkin on his head and declare that he would cross the Deleware once and for all with no socks on and then threaten a waiter with a fork when the waiter said he couldn't re-enact American Revolution Shoeless in the dining room. Anyway, official Locky's must begin after a minimum of 100 posts and must genuinely be heading towards lockdom. There are other rules we came up with but right now I can't remember them due to the clorox my mom tried to poison me with...

Keithy, I don't know you but I know people like you. A lifetime of disinformation and propaganda regarding Pot can do that to a person, it happened to my best friend. I was a huge pot head in High School, and can't now because of the nature of my work. I didn't turn out that bad, I do very well for myself and it didn't gateway me into other drugs. I smoke cigs and social drink. That was even before my first hit of weed.
