Solomon Grundy.......DEAD!

I just got done watching a Justice League cartoon on Cartoon Network, and Solomon Grundy is now DEAD in their version of the DC Universe!

They took on Cthulhu, which was actually pretty cool from a Lovecraft fan's perspective. In the final sequence, Grundy breaks into his head and basically rips his brain apart. I know, a stretch to say the least.

But the main point here is that Solomon Grundy is DEAD and he will be missed. ESPECIALLY since this has been the coolest he's looked on a TV show, and the coolest he's sounded. Remember that HORRIBLE high pitched, grating voice he had in the 80's version?

yea Moe...I agree....they did create a really good character with him (as opposed to the 80's Battle of theSuperfriends)

I watched it last night too. Alot of Lovecraft creatures, in addiditon to Cthulhu. Pretty neat. Deep ones and elder gods never get old.

Good episode, didn't expect them to actually kill him.
