Im a fan. I saw them in NYC a few years ago. Great live band. One of the most amazing bass players I have ever seen live.
Thanks to Reefdwella for the great Sig Pic.

They were in one of the greatest movies of all time, the great Frankie and Annette vehicle: Back To The Beach. Good movie and they did a song in there. Just thought i could add that really quick.
The harder you try to break me, the harder i push on.
Doubt me, hate me. You're the inspiration i need.

fishbone is red hot .... i always felt that they should've had all the heat the peppers got .....
i got to see them back in 1990 at the palladium, with dirty dozen brass band, murphy's law & and a very special secret 2 live crew perfomance .... luke and company took the stage, trying to badass their way through the show, and literally had to stop as the mosh pits grew larger and larger ..... fishbone came on after and put on one of the greatest shows i've ever seen ..... such intensity
i've always thought that 'everyday sunshine' was on of the greatest soul songs .....

In their heyday the best live band, bar none.
I saw them first in a rutgers auditorium during the "Truth and Soul" tour. That album will actually melt the others in your collection if you put it too close.
They had a whole bunch of intense personnel [and personal] problems just as they were poised for the big break.
But get Truth and Soul or The Reality of My Surroundings and holy shit the rhythm section is tighter then [insert your tight joke here].
Oh yeah, I must be in a Black Rock Colaition kind of mood cause I just got back from seeing Living Colour open up for King Crimson at the Beacon tonight.
Living Colour, another band that could shred like no other back in their day; are together again, and I got to watch Corey and Vernon Reid.
Holy shit I knew Vernon was known as the Man but I thought the fret board was gonna burst into flames. They covered 'Back In Black'! Ha!
Fishbone fucking rocked. Hope they still do.
