It's just Muse.
I've loved these guys ever since I saw them live by chance in London a few years back. The first album, "Showbiz", is the only one that's been released here, and it's definitely got that "Radiohead but rocks harder"-sound. It's nothing insanely original, but it was an incredibly promising debut, just like Radiohead.
Since then they've put out their best album, "Origin of Symmetry", a B-sides collection/live album double disc, "Hullaballoo", and their latest, which just came out this year, "Absolution".
How to describe them...think classic Queen mixed with "OK Computer"-era Radiohead mixed with biggest, most bombastic bass sound you've ever heard. And THEN it goes all crazy and apeshit. I don't know, they're one of the most bizarre bands out there at the moment in terms of flat-out bombast. Personally, I think it's a HUGE leap to go from the Chili Peppers to them, but whatever. If you like taking a chance on your music, give the second album a listen, or download a song like "Hyper Music" or "Stockholm Syndrome" or "New Born" or "Plug In Baby" or their cover of "Feeling Good".
