He is on Velocity this week in a tag match against Spanky and paul London. Is he any good?
He's a stiff worker from the west coast. He and Low ki had a good running feud through the Indys and ROH about a year and a half ago. He has no personality and he's really pale, and the match that will be on Velocity didn't give him a chance to shine, but it's good to see him even get the chance.

Seriously? American Dragon is Bryon Danielson and has been trying to get a tryout with TNA but they never got to any deal. He was taught by HBKin his wrestling school as well as Regal and is a phenomenal technician.
BIO from NJPW.com
This representative of INOKI DOJO has already made a name for himself in the independent circuit of The United States. Has won titles in TWA, MCW ECCW, ECWA and APW. Was even crowned the 2001 King of Indies Champion. This dragon trained under Shawn Michaels and had a developmental deal with the former WWF, where he learned his style from Steven Regal, a respected wrestler who in his time in NJPW challenged for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. Defeated Low Ki with Ricky Steamboat as referee in July of 2001. Wrestled in various independent federations across the States in 2002 and has now made it to NJPW. His signature moves are the Cobra Clutch, Double-arm Suplex Hold, and, of course, Dragon Suplex.
Gary, who needs a personality when you are an incredible worker in the ring?

Hosp's explanation of Danielson doesn't give the man justice.
He's one of the best workers on the indy scene. One of THE best. Hell, he's one of the best workers in all of North America - and I'm most certainly talking about the WWE & NWA there.
Imagine a young Steven "William" Regal in his prime, and you have a good representation of the kind of worker Danielson is. I know that comparison will put off some of you who don't like Regal or his style, but basically what I'm trying to tell you is that Danielson is a phenomenally gifted technical wrestler. Check out his RoH work.

there are a couple of matches in specific that i wanted to mention but i cant remember the dates
but you really should check out any of his RoH stuff, esepecially the stuff involving Paul London, AJ Styles, Low Ki, and Christopher Daniels.
Dragon is a favorite of mine and i cant wait to see Velocity this week, and when are they gonna call up spanky and london dammit! the WWE tag scene is anemic as is, they could be quite the fresh start.
I will not go quietly into the nite...
I was just doing a blurb, and trust me, I was at the match tapings and this match does not showcase his skills.
Plus I knew others would fill in the rest.
