Has anyone else gotten this recently?

It's an Excel spreadsheet with 95 little pictures which are loose representations of figures from pop culture. Most are music acts, but some are from TV & film. Each one is about 2 inches tall, with no detail in the face, but you're supposed to guess based on their hairstyle or what they're wearing.

For example, there's one that is a very generic figure that is naked, with long dark hair covering the breasts and a small dark dot between it's legs. The correct answer is Alanis Morrisette. I would post a few, but I don't have a picture capture program on my work computer.

A friend sent it to me yesterday & I got through about 40 of them without much trouble. Through collaboration & a little more time staring at it, I'm up to 62 out of 95, but I've hit the wall.

Just curious if anyone else is getting ZERO work done today while they stare at these little things?

You're right, the spelling is a pain in the ass. I must have spelled Snoop Dogg eight different ways before I got the one they were looking for.

This has got to be a British thing... "The Young Ones" and "Slade"?

And "Leo Sayer" for fuck's sake?

Pretty sad that I recognized that one, actually.

And #76 is so Penn & Teller. Or is it?

I got 59. So far. It helps if you squint.

I absolutely thought 76 was Penn & Teller, but the program disagrees.

The ones that are absolutely driving me nuts are #10, #16 (apparently not Urkel), #32, #34, #36 (the guy is wearing a Fez, but it's not Mr. Whatley), #62, #65 (apparently not Frank Purdue...but what's with the chicken/turkey under his arm?).

This has got to be a British thing...

If you needed any more evidence, I submit...#71: Adam & the Ants.

And how is #89 not a slim Jerry Garcia or Einstein in a Hawaiian shirt?

#65 (apparently not Frank Purdue...but what's with the chicken/turkey under his arm?).

You're not gonna believe this. When I was a kid there was a comedian with a huge emu puppet, so I looked it up on Google (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=comedian+emu+puppet) and he was at the top of the list. And guess what? It's him ("and emu").

Fuckin' limeys.

#64... how many blonde rock trios are/were there?

#31 looks more like Huey Lewis and The News than who it turned out to be (after trying every 80s pastel suit wearin' band I could think of).

And speaking of which... who the hell is #90?

I thought #89 might be Billy Connolly, but it's not.

Craig Robinson is the creator of the mini pop icons. His site is http:www.flipflopflyin.com/. He used to have downloadable files of his icons to use on your desktop. I still have some today...very cool. Well, if you like that try some more cool british imports: www.weebl.jolt.co.uk/pie.htm ,(it's a series, stay with it) and finally check out B3ta.com/. Woo Yay!

This is definitely Anglo-Centric. The Bay City Rollers? Dire Straits?

#11 isn't Guns N' Roses? #90 isn't Sha Na Na? And it sucks if you don't spell "correctly".

Spell out "Five" and there's no dash in The A Team. Sometimes you need to type out "The", like for #5.
