A friend of mine has stumbled into a well-maintained used car for 3000 dollars.

Unfortunately, the friend has zero liquidity in funds.

Is there a way to get a bank or some other institution to write a loan for 2 to 3 thousand dollars, at a decent rate?

The company which wrote me my car loan has a low limit of 7,000 bucks for a car. A lot of banks don't like to touch smaller loans.

I'd appreciate any ideas. Thanks.

A good kidney could fetch about $3,000.

i don't know much about cars, but $5000 for a sub is a good deal.
