Best breakfast bread thing

Sure, Moe has his bacon in the morning, but I'm more of a high-carb kinda guy. It used to be that it was always french toast, but lately I've switched up to belgian waffles. My girl claims that you have to make sure you get syrup in each individual waffle pocket, but I prefer the more haphazard style. What's your preference?

Your girl is a total genius then. The butter can go on haphazardly, but you must painstakingly fill each cranny of waffle goodness with the syrup (and while were at it none of that Aunt Jemimah/Log Cabin crap...only the kind in the tin can thats "real") Why else would they put those divits in the waffle if you weren't supposed to fill them.

Anyhow, I'm torn. I love pancakes, french toast and eggos, belgian waffles I just can't eat...they're too dry. If i had to vote I'd prolly vote eggos though.

I can't eat waffles because of a case of college expirimentation gone awry. But this one DIDN'T involve my ass.

One of my roommates sophomore year decides to make a huge pasta dinner for everyone in the apartment. Goes to the nines and whips up one of the best Italian meals I've ever had, PERIOD. Even included some great garlic bread. Unfortunately, the butter he used with the same knife he cut the garlic with was the same butter I used the next morning on my waffles.

Try having a a heaping forkfull of waffle, butter, syrup and fresh garlic at 8 AM on a belly full of cigarettes, whiskey and gin. The amount of vomit you're able to produce is EPIC.

I'm more of a protein kind of guy but, carb-wise, behind fruit and oatmeal, when I go on a bread bender it'd be Dunkin' Donuts. I handed back the 30 day chip to my apple cider and pumpkin connection last week.
