I've been planning to attend this for months. I'll be there.

Defeat leads me to anger...anger that leads me to victory!

Here is a commentary from the man responsible for creating Fan Slam-

[quote]I'm here today to talk a little bit about FAN SLAM!: The Wrestling Fan Festival that is taking place on Saturday, December 6th at The Holiday Inn on Rt. 46 West in Totowa, NJ. My last FAN SLAM! on August 23rd was a huge success and I'm hoping everyone will come out again on December 6th.

The idea behind FAN SLAM! is bringing in wrestling superstars that fans haven't met before or haven't seen in a while. Besides having tons of wrestling dealers selling merchandise and a live Question & Answer Session, that's the concept behind FAN SLAM! For August's FAN SLAM! I wanted to have a very unique guest and I think I pulled that off by delivering Kevin Von Erich.

Von Erich, along with Bobby Heenan, Paul Orndorff, Ricky Steamboat, J.J. Dillon, Crowbar, and Gary Michael Cappetta, all took part in the last FAN SLAM! Other superstars there included Justin Credible, Virgil, Ox Baker, and Johnny Valiant.

When I began planning for December 6th's FAN SLAM!, I wanted another unique guest. So I tracked down The Missing Link and booked him for the event. I thought to myself, when was the last time fans on the East Coast had the chance to meet The Missing Link? 20 years ago? Never? I thought, like Von Erich, that he would be that "unique" guest that I want at each and every one of my FAN SLAM! events.

Then I began thinking that I shouldn't stop there and began thinking about other unique names. I came up with "Dr. D." David Schultz. By luck, I knew someone that knew a really good friend of his and began talking to him about getting Schultz to make his first appearance in professional wrestling in nearly 15 years! After a few weeks of talking back and forth, I worked out an agreement to bring in Schultz for FAN SLAM! as well on December 6th. I can't begin to tell you how excited I am that I will be the first person to use Schultz in any capacity in the last 15 years.

When booking these events, I put myself in the mindset of an old-time wrestling fan or hardcore wrestling fan and what they want. That's who I'm catering to. Lets face it, fans of today's WWE will not have a clue who Missing Link and David Schultz is. But that's not the crowd I'm catering to. It's the 1980's wrestling fans and life-long hardcore wrestling fans that I catering to. So I'm extremely excited to have Link and Schultz booked for my December 6th event.

Other superstars I have booked for the event include: "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, "Polish Power" Ivan Putski, Kamala, and Koko B. Ware.

Also appearing at FAN SLAM! on December 6th are: Chief Jay Strongbow, Gary Michael Cappetta, Crowbar, Slyk Wagner Brown, Bill Apter, April Hunter, High Spots, WrestleCrap, and many more!

I have also just received word today that Millennium Wrestling Federation, which is ran by Dan Mirade, will be bringing in "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan for FAN SLAM! That's right, Jim Duggan will now also be a part of the event. I'm very excited that Duggan has been added to the already stacked lineup for December 6th's FAN SLAM!

I also booked an extra room at The Holiday Inn for this upcoming event. Anyone that was at the last event knows how crowded it was, so with an extra room booked at the hotel, things should run a lot more smoothly.

I'm really looking foward to the Question & Answer Session, that was without question the highlight of August's FAN SLAM! Bobby Heenan stole the show at the last Q&A. Among the highlights of the last Q&A were every word out of Heenan's mouth, Orndorff talking about working with Hulk Hogan, Steamboat talking about working Randy Savage, Kevin Von Erich talking about the deaths in his family, and J.J. Dillon talking about WCW and The Four Horseman. I can't wait to hear questions the fans have in store for Shultz, Link, DiBiase, and the rest of the crew. It should be more than interesting.

I am offering a SUPER TICKET package for the event where fans get admission into the convention, the Question and Answer Session, and free
