what can i use to replace napster

There are going to be people replying to this post saying Winmx but let's face it, not the same as Napster when it was at it's peak a year ago. More users meant more obscure songs but Winmx for now is pretty small compared to the 50 million that used napster a while ago. Case in point i'm trying to download some songs from the KIDS sountrack and i'm lucky i even found any, all that was available was the same Folk Implosion song 30 times. Anyway you're probably gonna have to wait it out if you wanna download something by Bob Pollard's soft rock renegades but go with Winmx.

I find kazaa to be very usefull. theres a ton of music there but not as fast as napster.

its shocking that you haven't mentioned the two biggest napster clones used today. Aimster.com which is awesome for strickly audio, and Morpheous.com which is great if you have a cable modem cause you can download games, programs, all different music, tv shows..anyhting you can imagine..since im on dialup i use aimster, and thats just fine with me :)

you can try DirectConnect. The downside to it is that most of the channels you download from make you share at least a gig worth of your files.
