Also Se7en, JerryTaker, Hosp and Peachy for their smarts knowledge. What about RFM? PanterA? Tall James? furie? SuperClerk? Crippler? Teenweek? my boy fatty?
Those are my tops of the RF.Net Wrestling Forum!

I think I am actually the worst wrestling poster who used to regularly post in the wrestling forum because I did not know Hawk had died until yesterday.
FYI - Here are some other recent wrestlers who have passed on (courtesy of Deansplanet.com)
Stu Hart (1915-2003) diabetes and pneumonia
Hart, father of Owen & Brett is best known for developing the commercial form of pro wrestling in Canada, after introducing "Stampede Wrestling" - a popular saturday afternoon television show that ran from 1951 through to the late 80's. It was the precursor and inspiration for Vince McMahon's hugely successful World Wrestling Federation in the United States
Anthony Durante (?-2003) drug related
Anthony, best known as one of the Pitbulls from ECW, was found dead today. It is believed that Durante died of a drug overdose. A woman was found dead by his side, also believed to be from a drug overdose.Tragically, the couple had a 21 month old boy and an 8 month old girl, both of whom were in the house for days with the dead body.Needles were found by the bodies, as well as the drug Oxycontin. Oxycontin is a popular pain killing drug used by pro-wrestlers. Both the bodies also had fresh needle marks, indicating recent drug use.
Classie Freddie Blassie (1921-2003) natural causes
Fred Blassie was one of the most important figures in professional wrestling throughout his entire 40+ years in the wrestling business. During his incredible career, Blassie was a true trendsetter, and an incredibly influential performer. As "evil" as they came, the nickname "The Vampire" was often associated with Blassie during his wrestling days because of his incredibly sharp teeth... more
Elizabeth Hewlet (1960-2003) lethal combination of alcohol & drugs
Known as Miss Elizabeth, she quickly guided Savage to the IC title. They then set their sites on the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. In 88, Savage won the Heavyweight Title, defeating Ted DiBiase in a tournament at Wrestlemania IV. She was also the manager for Hulk Hogan, then united him with Savage as the Mega Powers. This alliance broke down in a dispute over Elizabeth. After her divorce from Savage, Elizabeth retired from the sport but returned in 1995 and eventually became a member of the New World Order.
Curt Hennig (1959-2003) acute cocaine intoxication
Henning started his career in 1979 in Verne Gagne's AWA promotion along with other future superstars including Hogan and Scott Hall. He is also the son of wrestling legend Larry "The Axe" Henning. He had memorable feuds with the Road Warriors (AWA) and Brett Hart (WWF). He was a member of the Four Horsemen, The New World Order & the West Texas Rednecks. He was recently fired from the WWE for his role in an altercation with Brock Lesner, on a flight where they ended up bumping into the emergency exit.
The Sheik (1926-2003) heart failure
Edward (The Sheik) Farhat died Saturday, January 18th in Michigan at the age of 76 of heart failure. Farhat was a professional wrestling villain pioneered the "hardcore" school that dominates the field today, and generations of fans loved to hate him. Titles held: United States Heavyweight champ (12 times, Detroit version), 2-time NWA American Heavyweight champ , 3-time US Champ (Toronto), United National Heavyweight champ.
Rocco Rock (1953-2002) heart attack
Ted Pett, beter known as 'Flyboy' Rocco Rock, one half of Public Enemy, died on Saturday night, September 21st, due to an apparent massive heart attack. Rock recently celebrated his 49th birthday on September 1st. Rock had wrestled last night against Crowbar at an independent show in Jersey City and was to wrestle again that night.
Davey Boy Smith (1963-2002) heart attack
Smith's titles included: 2 time WWF Eurpoean, WWF Intercontinental, WWF Hardcore, 2 time WWF Tag Team, Stampede British Commonwealth Mid-Heavyweight, 4 time Stampede International Tag Team, Stampede Wrestling World Mid-Heavyweight and 2 time Stampede North American Heavyweight.
Big Dick Dudley (1968-2002) drug overdose

well i knew about all the other deaths. I had read about Stu Hart's death the day after he died. I had just somehow missed Hawk though. Oh well, I guess what also makes me the "worst wrestling poster......etc." is that I only catch 6 hours of wrestling a month now on average.

Andre was about 46 or 47... I'd call that relatively young (although, in wrestling, that's considered being a senior citizen, I'm sure).
And there's also Adrian Adonis (was 34 when he died in a car crash).
