Anyone played or bought this game? It came out yesterday. I am sooo hooked! I have and my hands are hurting from trying to make Triple H tap... over and over again, hehehehe. :p

I can't wait until I can unlock The Million Dollar Man, Animal, Hawk, Hillbilly Jim, Iron Sheik, Jimmy Snuka, Nicholai Volkoff, Roddy Piper, Sgt. Slaughter and old school Taker. Where's Duggan, Hogan, Andre, Tito and Warrior? It will take me months to unlock them all.

Anyone know of any sites where they got nice looking CAWS? Anyone have any thoughts on the game itself? It's pretty much the same but better wrestlers like Haas, Benjamin, Cena and Ultimo Dragon. Oh yeah, Bra and Panties Match, hehehe.

DISCUSS.

I'm lovin' this! Better than last years, as it should be. The season mode is packed with stuff to do! And this time the game remembers who you've fought, and keeps a win-lose record! Now everything is in your locker. You don't have to walk around the arena lookin' for people any more (thank god!)
The controls are better. Basicly the same, but they added 2 separate counters on L1 & L2.

As far as match types, they got rid of "I Quit" & "King Of The Ring" and replaced them with "Bra & Panties" and "Elimination Chamber" While B&P is kinda corny, the EC match is dead on! Right down to the flashing lights when someone enters, to the throwing guys through the glass!!

Right now I'm using Cena in Season mode, and it's been great great, with Benoit the main thorn in my side.

All in all, a must have for your PS2!

I got $17 in credit at EB for turning in a few old games. I was never going to play them again and don't care about collecting.

Hahhaha... I am Benoit in my current season mode and Cena is not really much of a thorn. For some reason, Charlie Haas and The Big Show are giving me problems cuz I am on Smackdown of course.

Question, have you switched shows yet? I haven't. I don't know what will happen. Also, have you slapped Taker yet backstage? :p

I haven't switched yet either. I want to do a full season first (which is just 1 year this time).
Haven't slapped Taker yet, but did have a run in with him. He dissed me and I lost an SP point :(
I did just get Sable as a manager though, and she was mad that I was talkin' with Torrie. :eg:

I bought the game this afternoon and love it. The season mode is a lot better, and the matches are a lot harder (which is a good thing).

I'm using John Cena for my season. So far I've won the US and WWE Tag Titles and banged Sable.

I did just get Sable as a manager though, and she was mad that I was talkin' with Torrie. I have just finished my first season with Benoit and won the WWE World Title from Brock Lesnar in a Hell in a Cell. A few weeks before Wrestlemania you will be asked if you want to look at something special for your WM intro. Say that you are interesting and when WM rolls around make sure to watch your entrance. I'll just say it will remind you of some phenomenal entrance from WMs past.

Here's a tip. Slap Taker twice. He respects that although it is dumb. You will get one SP for it.

I am now in my second season and am the Million Dollar Man. I started a faction with Brock called "Money Inc." and currently am holding the WWE US Title.

I have already unlocked Old School Taker, Snuka and Dibaise thus far. Three more to go! Ahhhh!

Oh yeah, after you are victorious at WM watch the credits all the way through... John Cena does a special rap at the very end. NOICE! :)

My faction is also "Thuganomics", with Cena, Show, O'haire, HBK, and Sable. We're feuding with "The Corporation" Angle, Benoit, Benjamin, Taker, and Torrie.
I just beat Brock for the WWE Title in Hell In A Cell at Armageddon! I love the black & white intros to the PPV's!
So far I've unlocked all the moves sets, Dibiase, and some of the alt. costumes (like masked Kane)

For the most part, this is much better than SD4, except for 2 things....
1. While I'm glad they dumped the commentary, it would have been nice if they kept the Fink's intros.
2. There is no music or video for the legends, but I do like that they come to the ring in classic WM fashion, in the mini-rings!

Rob or Bobby sign it up baby!

The Million Dollar Man.........this game sounds absolutely fantastic! It is but no theme song... "Money money money money money... everybody's got a price!"

I need a CAW for IRS and the Repo Man. Old School Taker is in the game too. I wish I chose old school Taker as part of my faction... too late.

I jumped to Raw and my first three weeks there I won the Hardcore, IC and Tag titles.Awesome!

I didn't even get a WM match, after the PPV Coach talked to me and said someday I'll make it.So that means you either lost the Royal Rumble match itself or that your Royal Rumble adversary beat you at no Way Out? Am I correct in my assumption?

I did see the rap though. Cena rules.
At least you unlocked the CREDITS and Cena does rule!

So far I've unlocked all the moves sets, Dibiase, and some of the alt. costumes (like masked Kane)Same here... unlocked all the move sets, divas loading screens and legends Million Dollar Man, Old School Taker and Jimmy Snuka baby! 2000 more for another 35000... I think I'll unlock Sgt Slaughter next!

For the most part, this is much better than SD4, except for 2 things....
1. While I'm glad they dumped the commentary, it would have been nice if they kept the Fink's intros.Fink or Lillian or Chimel would have been nice.

2. There is no music or video for the legends, but I do like that they come to the ring in classic WM fashion, in the mini-rings! Yeah mixed blessing. Love the WM old school mini-ring entrances but no music or video.

I wish they had Andre and Bobby Heenan in one mini-ring. Someone got a CAW for that one?

Yeah, I came in #29 in the Rumble and still lost. You know that you could have not saved it and restarted the game over by turning the PS2 on then off right? I did that at another PPV cuz I lost to T.B.S. in a US Title match! I won the next chance I got.

I was Number 26 and won it off the bat though. Stick to the center of the ring. When you have a change doa grapple and toss out your rivals!

sorry i didn't post earlier about this, but i got the game the 27th of October and have been playing it non-stop. The game is like free-base or black tar herion. Its that addictive

so far i've unlocked all movesets, 5 arenas, 3 diva load screens, and Old School Undertaker. I still have so much more to do.

Personally i hate the controls, even though i'm used to them.

Plus its the only time that WWE Raw is good, with the rosters i put together, Raw is now redeeming (unlike in real life)

They're weird, but I like to know that all the directional down moves are submissions, that helps me out in a long match.

Plus its the only time that WWE Raw is good, with the rosters i put together, Raw is now redeeming (unlike in real life)
I used the real life rosters. I started off on Smackdown! and got tired of the roster and asked to switch shows. The roster split sucked in SYM. HCTP made it stick with a jump here or there.

so far i've unlocked all movesets, 5 arenas, 3 diva load screens, and Old School Undertaker. My hands are still hurting me as I type!

Plus its the only time that WWE Raw is good, with the rosters i put together, Raw is now redeeming (unlike in real life) I used the current WWE rosters and of course the legends since I am currently the Million Dollar Man on WWE RAW.

I've bought all the cheap stuff first and I still have a ways to go. It's gonna take forever to unlock all the legends.Rob, you should have done what I did. Go for the gusto and then go for the rest.

Had to bump this to include some commentary from the great and might DEAN~! Rasmussen.

The Smackdown commercial where the announcer corrects Brock Lesner by saying that "We ALL win" when Brock beats Torrie in a bra and panties match really MAKES MY FUCKING SKIN CRAWL. Now, I'm not saying that I'm Sir Lancelot and pure as the driven snow in my pathetic sexual fantasies. I mean come on. You've been alone. You've been watching your tape of the Tick and said to yourself, "Goddam, when American Maid does that flip and rips her clothes off, I get uncontrollably excited." I mean, I understand. American Maid is the fantasy brunette that is akin to being the greatest possible most mountable Sigourney Weaver. And come on. I know you. You've spent secret moments alone in an extended shower and disgraced yourself and your family name and also burned a black mark in your soul by toasting a load to the idea of the Scarlet Witch and Storm using their magic powers to rip each others clothes off. See, that's all fine. There is a little story in your mind. Your fauntasy world steers strangley into the erotic hinterland that all people explore when they get way too bored. But for the WWE to have me have to imagine men- computer game playing men- masturbating to computer generated Torrie having a bra and panties match in a video game- A FUCKING VIDEO GAME- is sooo fucking pathetic that I want to throw up directly onto this computer screen. What kind of fucking repulsive sexually-retarded clientelle is the WWE trying to reach with this ad. I mean, this isn't video tennis or anything. I mean jacking off to a Women's Prison Video game where you can be the corrupt warden and can use a sequence of moves to start a surprise delousing is ONE thing. Jacking off to cgi Torrie is fricking sick. Unless there is a version where she and Bastion Booger play a long game of tennis and then they both take a long break and tenderly towel each other off and brush up against each other and smile and shyly look away as they catch each others eyes and the next thing you know Booger is pressing his winkie through the net to reach Torrie's aching, squishy..... WAIT! Let me erase this.

If I were a woman, I would bear Dean's children gladly.

I know EB will give me $50 for my playstation (a former roommate left it) and 7 games...I think I might have 7 or 8. The guy at the store suggested I buy a couple of their $1.50 games and use them on the exchange.

I would love this game, as the wrestling games are the main reason I'd choose PS2 over X-Box!! Cost being an issue, I might have to start with last year's, which is about $20 now.

If this game were online...then it'd be used for RFW for sure!!:) Sweet!!

that is a great point. Does anyone know if Raw 2 is gonna have the same move system? because it is obvious that PS2 has much better wrestling games.
