I've always thought that people should get out in the real world before going to college... you know, join the army or do the peace corps. My GPA at UCLA right out of high school? Oh, about a 1.2... my GPA at Rutgers after learning how important college is? 3.78 You'll get a lot more out of it. Of course, I can't get a job, so what do I know.

I didn't like high school, but I loved college, both of the ones I went to. But I agree with ADF. I don't talk about my Albany GPA, but my Ramapo College GPA was about a 3 and my Masters from NJIT was a 3.8

I loved high school and college is all right. I'm meeting some cool people at college, but they are mostly fuckups and future failures, so I make most of my friends at ROTC. I'm at community college right now, so what I really need is to get the hell out of my house and enjoy life for 3 years.

well I don't give a crap about partying. I can go back to Brooklyn on the weekend and hang out with friends. I could understand how people who want to party and are from out of state would be up shit's creek because ultimately NYC has gotten too artsy. There is really shit to do when it comes down to it.

the first 2 years of college for me were awesome. then came academic probation and i had to do school work. they were still fun, but no where near the first two years. dorm life might seem like it sucks, but its one of the things i miss most about college.

HS was okay, but that is where i would rather go back to. my college experience was what i wanted it to be, but i say alot that i would like to do high school over. first, it was so easy to get okay grades. and now that i'm 10 years removed i see how stupid the things i got upset about back then really are. HS drama is so funny and i would love to go back and laugh at it, instead of being a part of it like most HS kids are

College was fun and I very much appreciate all the opportunities it afforded me.

I went to college from '85 to '89. Tuition nearly broke my dad and I back then. What we paid for a four-year degree back then is EASILY a one-year tuition at some private colleges.

Count your blessings. At least your not getting up at the crack of dawn and busting your hump for minimum wage.

Well, I was planning on going down to my old school (Rutgers) this weekend pretty much because I want to:

(a.) get a roast beef sandwich at MV Deli,

(b.) get some ice cream at Thomas Sweet, and

(c.) walk the streets mindlessly.

I remember going to the career development office on College Avenue. The girl asked me what my major was. I told her Political Science. She asked me "what can you do with that?" You tell me stupid bitch! Now they call me soliciting donations. Some kid was trying to bond with me over the phone..."do you remember the grease trucks?!" he asks. Yeah, yeah, whatever, douchebag.
