i was coming home from school today, and i was up on the subway platform. all the rain had made everything pretty wet up there, even though there's a covering. anyway, this guy runs past me, presumably rushing to make the bus that stops right below the station. a couple of seconds later, a young boy runs by me. it turns out that he was the guy's kid (which i learned when the guy turned around to yell, "hurry up!" at the poor kid)... he was probably around eight or so. the guy is already starting to run down the stairs when the kid gets to the top of them... and wipes out. i couldn't even see him fall, but i heard it. luckily, he didn't seem to have fallen very far, but he could have really gotten hurt. fucking idiot father. he should be the one to fall down the stairs.

I don't know what any of this has to do with the subject discussed, but knowing where you live and the trains you're probably taking, I'm just playing the odds.
