View Full Version : Best wireless company?
First off, Ive had a plan with AT&T fro over a year, and Ive been paying through the roof! I got my bill for last month for 90 fucking dollars and I was pissed. Now what I dont understand is I dont use my phone that much, Im way to busy working half the time, and when I do use it its short and sweet. SO with all this Im strongly considering canceling AT&T and switching to someone else. Now Im sure Im going to have to pay a cancelation fee, but fuck it, I want nothing to do with AT&T anymore. So with everyones oppinion, which company is the best, my first choise would be cingular because of the rollover minutes. What else is good out there?

the best move i ever made was calling up AT&T two summers ago, telling them to go fuck themselves, and switching to Verizon...........AT&T is the worst wireless company ever

VERIZON
now that they have a 2 way, there is absolutely no reason for any other company. none of them hold a candle in service or reception. they are slightly more money than everybody else, but for once you will see why.
hands down no comparisan

nextel's good only if you already know people who have them and can then save on calls with direct connect.

I used to use Verizon and then their service started to suck. I live on Long Island and travel between Nassau and Suffolk a lot. I switched to AT&T which for a rea long time had excellent service. The quality was great, their customer service was very good. But over the past year their service has gone downhill very fast. I might just switch back to Verizon myself, especially to get the two way connect feature.

It all just kinda depends on what your friends/family have.. I personally have sprint cause all my friends have it and PCS to PCS calling is FOC!! (thats free of charge if you are a retard) I think most cell companys have a phone to phone thing if you are on the same plan so you may want to look into that.. also if you dont use your phone that much you might want to consider virgin mobil cause you only pay for the minutes that you use and no contracts and such blah blah blah.. BTW how's your credt cause that could effect your choice too...it's a very personal decision and stuff man!!
What....Wierd works for me!!!

Hey, I was wondering:
I am looking to get a cell phone, and I need to know which provider is the best. Are there any threads on the topic?

My company charges for that (well, it's not really AIM on the phone, it's text messaging which costs me 10 cents per message I send (free to recieve)
Anyone able to do it for free?

I can run AIM on my Verizon for free. I got it through Get It Now! I also have text and picture messaging for 2.99 a month.

I do aim through text messages as well. But it's better than not having it at all.
