I miss this Aussie bastard. He just disappeared.
Anyone know where he is? OVW? UPW? Back in Austrailian jail perhaps?

He is useless.
Jones' very existence in the company is an indictment of JR's ability as a talent scout.
He was hired based on his look alone, without, apparently, anyone watching any of his work to discover just how truly awful he is.
FIRE him already.

Wow, no one likes him. Truthfully, me neither but I really did like his look and think that if he was ever released from a WWE contract he could do quite well in TNA, since TNA lacks big men. The current tallest wrestling in TNA is Abyss at 6'8-6'9.
Thanks Rob... do you know the name of the movie by chance?

Buddy, you're saying that someone who has always sucked (No matter which promotion he's been in) will be an improvement for TNA. Either that means the rest of the roster sucks balls, or you are a blindly loyal fan.
Nathan sucked in the WWA, he sucked in the WWE, and he would suck in TNA.

TNA lacks big men.
This is a bad thing?
There are literally a thousand guys on the indy scene who are better than Jones, who could work for NWA a lot cheaper and would be better investments in the long term.

From the Smackdown Spoilers,
Brock Lesnar, Big SHow, Nathan Jones, Matt Morgan and someone to be named later will face Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, APA and someone to be named later at Survivor Series.
Who is Matt Morgan and how are him and Nathan Jones in the main smackdown survivor series match.

Morgan is a 7 footer out of OVW.

TW if what you say is true... all I have to say is... that Survivor Series Match really stinks.
Spoilers from Smackdown in regards to this match.
- Opened with Vince and Heyman segment. Both were on top of their game, giving better than usual performances. Vince gave an ultimatum to Heyman to do whatever it took to take out the Undertaker before Survivor series or Vince would choke the life out of him. He had 15 minutes.
- Brock and Show arguing about their combined losses to Undertaker last week. Backstage hired help interrupts, telling Lesnar that Heyman is waiting for him in the ring.
- Heyman comes out with two giants: Matt Morgan and Nathan Jones. Lesnar comes out, thinks he's being set up, and calls out Show to be at his side. Lesnar and Heyman talk trash, but agree that Heyman's greed is leading him to naming Lesnar as the captain of a Survivor Series match (apparently, they are returning to the old format). He announces that Morgan, Jones and Show are on his team and the 5th is to be announced. All shake hands and walk out.
- Angle catches up to Benoit earlier and asks him to be on his team. After the usual "I don't like you and don't trust you" speech, he accepts. You can tell this two are having a good time together.
- Lesnar catches up to Cena to break the news that he might be the 5th guy on his team.
- Angle's on the phone with someone, thanks him for his support. Unknown interviewer asks him about Lesnar's team. Angle mentions Benoit is on it and says that he's just gotten Hardcore Holly to be on his team since Holly's out for revenge on Lesnar. Then, he points out Englebert Humperdink and the Brooklyn Brawler as the two others. No, no, he was pointing past them to the APA.
Main event: APA won by DQ over Lesnar & Show. Crowd was a little slow to get into this one. They really laid out the APA at the end Ron Simmons (oops... Faarooq) got the shin between the steel chair and the Show dropped from the second rope onto it. He sold like crazy. They laid out Bradshaw as Angle and Benoit came in. Angle hit a surprising Angle slam on Show. Nathan Jones and Matt Morgan came out and cleaned house. The 4 heels celebrated.

Holy fuck, they REALLY screwed up the SDown 5 v. 5.
Let's look this over:
Team Angle:
Kurt Angle &
Chris Benoit - no problem with either. It's God's Team reunited.
Hardcore Holly - untalented sack of shit with major attitude. He's got legit heat with Lesnar, but it's his own fucking fault - Lesnar is no soft Tough Enough kid, if you want to shoot on him, prepared to get your ass handed to you (as Holly's was to him)
APA - Sacks of shit, should not be even on the card let alone this match
TEAM LESNAR
Brock Lesnar
Big Show - Lesnar works well with Angle, he'll likely work well with Benoit. Big Show isn't my favorite, but he can step it up against Angle & Benoit
Matt Morgan - I question the inclusion of him, as he's green as hell (he has all of 3 MONTHS experience as a pro) but maybe he's decent.
Nathan Jones - As has already been established here, untalented sack of shit who should be seeking employment elsewhere
John Cena? - Cena seems a possible 5th man, although seeds of his face turn are beginning to sprout
This match could have been sweet....instead it's likely to disappoint, big-time.
Oh, and once again - no Matt Hardy to be found on the card. Anywhere.

Just to let you know, Se7en, Morgan has impressed the WWE agents with his immense ability to be both agile and a powerhouse. That's what they thought that Jones could be. Let's hope that Morgan will do better in his run than Jones did. Let's also hope that Jones at least got better.

I think Ron Simmons will be too injured to compete and a new face of John Cena will be on Angle's team and I think they will add Atrain to go with all the big men on Brock's team. Well at least smackdown has the undertaker vs vince main event.
The raw survivor series match I think is better.

Your ALL morons. This guy is a real martial artist and he has REAL fighting skill, something you wrestling fans wouldnt care about. This guy is something like 6'11 and can kick like a 5'2 shaolin monk.
FF7, Great, he might be a great legit fighter, but he sucks as a professional wrestler. And since that is what he gets paid to do, and besides sucking, he also hurt a lot of people, we can bitch about him all we want.
And I know we used to have Kevin Kelly as a member, maybe he's turned someone else on to the board before he left.

You've got to be fucking kidding me.
Fighting ability does not equal wrestling talent.
Some shooters have translated well to wrestling (Don Frye, Kaz Murakami) and some wrestlers have done well in shoots (Dan Severn, Tadao Yasuda, Yoshihiro Takayama.....um, well, maybe not Takayama...), but there are by far many shooters who FAIL completely as wrestlers.
Guess what? If Jones is some sort of martial arts wunderking, great, but he's fucking AWFUL as a pro wrestler.

RFM, it must be a sign that I'm a huge fan of this board, because this topic was the first thing that came to mind when I saw Nathan Jones in the ring. I couldn't stop laughing!!!
Now start putting down lots of good ideas here that they can use on both shows! Maybe a couple will stick!! :)

BTW, did I see Brock Talking to Cena about something they were in agreement about?

ff7 I would continue the bashing of you but like Hosp and Se7en so eloquently have said... professional wrestling and shoot fighter are two different things. Two word. Tank Abbott. Ugh. And who are you to call us morons? You seriously think you know more than any of us?
Do you see his work in a WWE ring? What is sooo positive about him anyway? Yeah? Waiting. I started this thread cuz I like the look and size but that is all... I'm kinda crazy for thinking he would be a solid contributor on WWE television. Matt Morgan has a ton more potential than Nathan Jones does.
And I know we used to have Kevin Kelly as a member, maybe he's turned someone else on to the board before he left.*cough* *cough*
Guess what? If Jones is some sort of martial arts wunderking, great, but he's fucking AWFUL as a pro wrestler. No offense to Blackman but technically he is the same... although I enjoyed the sticks entrance and HEADCHEESE. And let's not forget about the Cat. And he is returning to the ring. *bangs head on computer desk*

BTW, did I see Brock Talking to Cena about something they were in agreement about? Yeah you did. johnee, the conversation backstage was just Brock hinting that Heyman might be making Cena the 5th member of Team Lesnar. Cena looked indifferent to the news.
Team Lesnar currently have the team Captain Brock Lesnar, The Big Show, Nathan Jones and Matt Morgan.

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS SOUNDS LIKE MY IDEA!!! I even named Nathan Jones as 1 of the main 5 members of this group. Brock, Jones, Cena Goldberg and Stiener. Big Show fits well into this though, and i cant complain about him in there. Hes one of the many theres no time for and hes not exactly thrilling in the ring. But he works just fine if hes just another "big" man that will stomp on people when theyre down and just be intimidating. I have no idea who Matt Morgan is, but if hes musclebound or great on the mic, he can fit too.

i have no idea who Matt Morgan is, but if hes musclebound or great on the mic, he can fit too. He's like 6'8-6'10 and is extremely muscular. Same build as Nathan Jones. From what I remember of him in OVW, weak to moderate mic skills and his in-ring skills is decent at best. But he is a strong and somewhat agile worker so I don't mind him much.

Big SD Storyline *SPOILER* Update
Story By: Ben Johnson
November 02, 2003
To update the earlier story, the word going around right now is that Ron Simmons is definitely going to sell his injury angle until after Survivor Series and miss the elimination match. This would allow John Cena to end up on the team of Angle, not Lesnar.
With Cena going to Angle's team, the most likely new member of Lesnar's team would be A-Train. That would make the final match Angle/Benoit/Holly/Bradshaw/Cena vs. Lesnar/Morgan/Jones/Big Show/A-Train, although A-Train is only about 95% defin
