I heard on the news today that the unsolicited advertisement emails we get as spam in our inboxes are the result of 6% of the population who actually make a purchase because of that prompting. All I can say is "thanks"

nope, i never click on any spam that comes into my email. once in a while they try to fool you with names that are very similar to ones of people you know and i'm just about to click it and then i see the title and know it must be spam because they would never forward me anything like that or write like that. fucking spammers need to die of ass cancer!

I have 3 email accounts-1 is hotmail and the other 2 are strictly for business. I have my hotmail set up for junk mail and I clean that folder out once a day...I don't even look to see what's in it!!!

i was going to say that i just can't bring myself to believe that there is 6% of the population that actually clicks on those things and buy stuff.. but i can certainly believe that at least 6% of the population is profoundly, profoundly stupid. so maybe i do believe.

Its a small #, but its enough of an encouragement for advertisers. I have this neighbor friend who is an immigrant and she comes over once ina while to order something online, and I see, she sees advertisements and wants to "know more" and Im like.... Not on MY computer!!

I was once so pissed off at a spam mail that I replied to one stating I'm gonna fucking sue you. Needless to say, the message was returned as "Undeliverable". Thus, my scant attempt at legalese did not pay off at all.
