This song or musical piece instantly reminds you of an EXACT scene in film. Answering with the movie title alone is not suffice. Let's try and start off with a few easy ones and save the fastballs for later on.

Being an actor I have always been a big fan of "Grease" but this was not the scene I was referring to. I can see the relation of the song and scene you stated though. I was looking for the opening scene to "An American Werewolf in London" during dusk along the some dreary marsh in England.
"Sunshine of you Love"

I've got a few:
The Cars - Moving in Stereo
The Faces - Ohh La la
Night Ranger - Sister Christian
A couple of pretty obvious ones:
Steeler's Wheels - Stuck in the Middle
Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
Urge Overkill - Girl, You'll be a Woman Soon
and this one may be a little more obscure, because most people won't know the name of this song, although some would definitely make the connection if they heard the song --
Q Lazurus - Goodbye Horses

"Sunshine of you Love"
I may be confused, but is this the song they used in Goodfellas when the authorities are closing in on Ray Liotta?
