I was gonna do my usual mr teacher explanation thing here but fuck it, let's see what you people got.

WHY do we do Daylight Savings time?

Bad answers = because ben franklin said so or 'days are getting shorter'

those are nice, and yes the days are getting shorter, but WHY push the clocks forward in the spring and back in the fall? What purpose would this serve?

Because our system of time measurement is extremely accurate, but not perfect, so we have to make up for it. I dunno...I'm tired.

O, and this dates back Millenia, I think during the time of the Egyptian empire, or even before that. Maybe the Romans, not the Egyptians.

Whatever the reason for it its absolutely useless. Farmers work by the sun, so, if it was sunny out at midnight, theyd be out there plowing fields. I know that they started this around WWII so I dont know if thats a reason, but I wish we would have a presidential candidate that would have that as one of the issues they would run on, 'cause I'd vote for 'em!!! Now, its gonna be getting dark at 4:30, what the fucks good with that? They should just make it one time, what we had yesterday all year.

I found a petition to end Daylight Saving Time HERE (http://www.standardtime.com/petition.shtml)!! Lets get rid of it! According to this, studys were done and there is statistically more accidents on the Monday following the end of Daylight Saving Time (Tomorrow) than any other time of the year, because of the interference of changing our clocks. I had to change like 25 clocks! Not to mention the ones I have at work tomorrow, or the one in my car. Its just a hassle!!

I have at least one clock in my house that is wrong 6 months out of the year.

On a dorky note, I have a clock that is radio controlled and set to the atomic clock. It resets itself.
