...and may your dog eat your face off before you are found by the authorities.
Hopefully by the Boston Globe posting her name her house will be pelted mercilessly by the same dog feces she threatened to throw at the Autistic child. Halloween should be a fun holiday for her :)

One time, the state alleges, Eleanor Pimentel, 41, blocked the boy from boarding the van, calling him a "retard" and telling his mother she was "sick of that animal bringing down her property values."
Jeez, it's not like blacks moved into the neighborhood.

They used to tease the retards at school but NEVER did it get to the point of flinging faeces. They always worried about getting drooled on. (some of them had food filled mouths that were scary)

THIS is an awful story, but I had to deal with a horrible, HORRIBLE mother of an autistic child in my store the other week.
This woman has been coming to my bookstore for several years, and she has a giant autistic daughter named Layla. Layla generally makes a lot of noise, opens and eats at least a good $20-$30 of the Godiva chocolate we sell, pulls books off the shelves and tosses them around, knocks them off the tables, and punches (Think Rocky and a meat locker...seriously) the merchandise. I just let it slide time after time until I noticed more and more that the mother would just let Layla run rampant over the store while she shopped elsewhere in it, not making even the slightest effort to control her child.
I fully understand the difficulties in raising an autistic child, but this was ridiculous. Finally, Layla actually ended up throwing books and CD's AT customers, so I found her mom and told her she had to control her daughter or take her out of the store, period. The mom (As she has done in the past when we've politely asked her in the past to keep her child from DESTROYING and EATING the merchandise) threw a fit, but I cut her off and told her it was private property and we had an obligation to protect our guests. She and her daughter are more than free to shop here when they want for as long as they want as long as it does harm the other guests in any way. She threatens lawsuit, as expected, and storms out.
She ended up complaining above me, but once I explained the situation exactly as I did above, and they confirmed these details with the mother, the company actually took my side. SCORE.
So while James' story is awful, I'm just as bugged by parents of these children who think they shouldn't do ANYTHING to discipline or control their kids in public.

Pimentel yelled and threatened to dump bags of dog feces she was holding on the family's yard. The boy's mother requested help from the police officer, who escorted Pimentel to her home "quite agitated, and seemingly on the verge of becoming violent," according to the complaint
apparently hording all the dog poop for this evil plot, against the autistic child!
first conquer the autistic, then THE WORLD.
i hope this lady gets pushed off of the empire state building, and gets her eyelid caught on a nail

but where are all the stories about the well behaived retards?
i had this downesyndrome kid in traffic just make my day earlier this week. i was driving home from work, getting some bad news on the phone about a grandparent dying...and im stopped at a light.
i look to my left, and in the back of a station wagon is this boy. probably about 14-15 with a severe case of downs. and he's looking right at me. smiling...drooling. and im biting my lip trying not to loose it, cause he's just so happy lookin.
and i dont want to make him feel like im laughing at him (even though i am) but not in a mean way, just appreciating the sheer happy on this retarted kids face.
so as the light turns green, i take one last look. and he's still lookin at me... and he waves. and the grin on his face just gets as big as big can be. so i wave back, nearly pissing myself with glee.
it made me so happy. it must be nice...in its own way i suppose to be so retarted. just smiling at strangers in traffic. nota care in the world. priceless.

It's simple....just get someone to kill the dog right in front of her...and then tell her to leave her and her kids alone.
If she loves that dog as much as it seems that will make her sad and afraid in the same breath.
Chances are the dog is dangerous also because of how the owner is.
But this woman needs help. And I am sure the police want to do something but their hands are tied. I used to work for a PD so I know....they have to follow the letter of the law and WANT to follow the spirit more.
