The throwback jerseys are all the rage right now. What would be your choices to have hanging in your closet right now?

Me? Los Angeles Kings and Minnesota North Stars jerseys from the 70s would look good on me. And I wouldnt mind a Los Angeles Rams white and blue jersey with Roman Gabriel's number.

Probably a retro NY Nets or a Seahawks jersey

I'm a sucker for defunct teams, so I would go for a NY Titans, Winnipeg Jets, or Hartford Whalers jersey.

tough call

Black Yankees (yes thats a negro League Jersey, don't ask me why i want it)
Boston Red Sox (1918)
"Gordon Fisherman" NY Islanders
New Jersey Devils (circa 1990)
New England Patriots
Oakland Raiders

I was never big on basketball so those jerseys are up in the air

They would all be "throwbacks" however customized with EVF 44 on the back

Winnipeg Jets

yeah an away Jets jersey could be kickass. Also I'd really like one of the old Bucs jerseys. Like with Errict Rhett or something 'cause I was a Bucs fan for a couple of years before I became a Ravens fan in '96. I'd like a retro Celtics jersey too, cause I'm white and it would make sense if I wore one :)

I've always like the old fashioned Phillies jerseys. I like the new ones as well, but I would like to get one of the old ones. Also I'd like to get the old Houston Astros jerseys as well as one of the old Oriales hats.

I have to have me some of the retro-Jets jerseys. I would personally love to have one of the guys from the Sack Exchange (Gastineau, Klecko or Lyons). Then again, why not go for Broadway Joe himself?

So with my interest up like this, I have to ask, what's the best place to buy retro jerseys? I found http://www.hr-derby.com while talking to StupidGirllll Friday, where they have the Home and Away Knights jerseys, Bad News Bears jersey, and the Furies jersey from the Warriors.

You know, I have been drooling over the old school Phillies jersey for YEARS and YEARS and only able to find cheap knock offs. So what happens? Some douche in a rap video wwears one a few years back and BANG! the hip-hop community has single handedly brought back the retro spors look in every sport practically. Don't even give me this shit that you were a fan of the Brewer's in 1982 or the Astro's of the early 80's.

That being said since I don't ant the jerseys for a "fashion" statement am thrilled that all of this is back. I hope teams start wearing the retro stuff appropriately as certain times throughout the year. I also like how new clothes are coming out with the old logos and designs. There is this Phillies hoddie and winter jacket that I would love to have. No pics though!

Jon, I found some Knights jerseys on eBay. There are 2 up there now and the one is $25. Do a search under New York Knights jersey.

River City Sports (http://www.rivercitysports.com) has an assload of retro jerseys and othger various shit. Including CFL stuff too! i'll get that Alouettes jacket! Throw in the Eskimoes jersey too.

I am also currently salivating over various Expos, Indians and Cubs items. I want one of those late 70's Cubs away jerseys.

My rant on Powder Blue Jerseys (http://www.ronfez.net/messageboard/viewmessages.cfm/Forum/73/Topic/22444/page/Powder_Blue_Baseball_Jerseys_and_the_other_guilty_ parties_.htm) ...and the idiot's who don't know how to wear a baseball hat. NO SHIT! They have a commercial and a fucking website! FINALLY!!

The store is located on the 1600 block of Walnut Street in Philly and I have been going there to drool for years. M & N make all of the retro jerseys the teams wear for certain events and happenings. This is really cool. What was the commercial like? Was there a bunch of hip-hop guys in it?
