View Full Version : Who is Jimmy Hart bringing into TNA
Teenweek

Read the results online as Jarrett against all odds beat AJ Styles for the title. Jimmy Hart promised to bring in an ex-client. If you care, who do you think it will be?

Again you beat me to my topic! Dammit! Just finished watching it TNA this morning... well this is what I was going to mention about this topic.
He came out to Hogan's WCW theme (which he wrote) and that got a tremendous ovation. After talking to Tenay in the middle of the ring about all the rumors about Hogan and Bound For Glory for a few minutes he gets Pearl Harbored by Jeff Jarrett, tied with black tape to the ring ropes, stripped of his shirt and gets whipped with the Chosen One's belt repeated until black shirt security stopped the madness.
Flashforward to the postmatch interview of the new NWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett, we can visibly hear an irate "Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart saying that he has managed the meanest and the dirtiest wrestlers in professional wrestling and that he had made a few phone calls. He said for every mark that was on his back he promised that Jarrett will lose a pint of blood. He jsut got off the phone with someone he used to manage and they will be here, in the TNA Asylum, live and in living color. He said, he will get his revenge.
Hmmm... sounds like Ed Leslie and Brian Knobbs may come to TNA after all? Maybe Hail from his latter days with WCW? I'm betting it is either The Barber or Knobbs.

are you actually excited about beefcake or knobbs? And I love people criticize HHH for using influence while Jarrett does the exact same thing. At least HHH earned his way to the top before banging Stephanie. Jarrett is nothing but a glorified midcarder. I would take Booker T, RVD, Jericho, Guerrero, benoit, Kane, Steiner over him any day. I put Jarrett on par with Test. Has some heat but sucks.

i would hope not. from what i've read it sounds like TNA is putting on a good show, but this would be a turn in the wrong direction. No need to have either of those 2 fight the world champion. they both suck. better not be Earthquake, Jim Neidhart or any of those past their prime guys either.

Knowing TNA, it will be Knobbs, Beefcake, or some other washed up has been. This is the same company that decided that Tony Schiavone and Bobby Eaton still belonged on TV. Maybe if TNA fans are lucky, the has been that Hart brings in will only be there for one episode like the others were.

Okay... wait just one minute. Jeff Jarrett is no longer some mid-carder from the WWF jobbing to Chyna! When will all of you pro-WWE people understand that? He has made huge strides in WCW and in TNA to cement his place as a main eventer!
You would take.... yeah all those names... but again TNA does not have all the money Vinny Mac has. JESUS! They are doing alot with the lack of a billionaire at the helm! Could you grasp that?
Putting Jarrett with Test is just a poor assessment for someone that no longer watches TNA. Very poor and I am really surprised you would say that about Jarrett.

No need to have either of those 2 fight the world champion. they both suck. better not be Earthquake, Jim Neidhart or any of those past their prime guys either.Bro, this is basically a time filler for when Hogan returns. Raven is in a New Church angle currently, Dougls is working on his faction, AJ has to deal with Russo and his minifaction... everyone is basically involved in some storyline so this seems like a good way to do so, concerning the circumstances.
I wouldn't mind this, not at all. And the few other pro-TNA people would agree with me... well I hope.

Yeah Tazz and what? Geez, you really have soured on wrestling and are especially pretty critical of TNA. I am truly surprised by all this hate you have for TNA... and this has been for like months now.
"Same company that decided that Schiavone and Eaton still belonged on TV." Hello! They used both guys to further angles. Tony Schiavone was used for a shoot interview and sided with S.E.X. and Russo and went off on Tenay and tradition. While Eaton was used as a "legend" to try to teach the lesson of the Notorious K.I.D.
But this angle of Hart's will continue for a few weeks until Hogan is in working condition. So live with it Jon!

Like I said I think Jarrett sucks. I saw him in WWE, I saw him in WCW and I saw him the first 3 months of TNA. He does NOTHING for me. His whole career everywhere else he was garbage. He is big now because his father owns the company. He is as bad or worse than everything that has been said about HHH. I am not a TNA hater. I do read the results every week and I know there is talent there. But please give me a break about jarrett. Without his daddy, he is no better than Buff bagwell.

please chosen one is a god in wrestling..
hhh owning the belt. not letting anyone else win.. plus he was handed the freakin belt by bish or do u not remember that. the only reason he jobbed is cause he got hurt and married,,, please berg will have to cough up the belt in the next two ppv's..... and never see another title shot after that.. and turn into poppa pump or get fired.. cause when his contracts up they won't give him another....
chosen one has payed his dues and vince dropped the ball.. putting him in the chyna match .. maybe you watched sat night wcw.. cause it sounds like you didnt watch nitro or thunder.... vince does that to a lot of stars that deserve the push to main event status............ give em nothing and have two guys as his main eventers.. example sc-rock-angle-hhh...

Mark aptly stated my thoughts regarding Tazz's remarks.
And Jarrett is not only far better than Test ever was (or will be), but he's somewhat underrated. He's no Bret Hart, never will be, but he's one of the better workers in North America and has been for some time.

Why the hatred so much to HHH and nothing to Double J. Jarrett is booked as invincible and wins the title whenever he wants it. His father owns the company so really he did not earn anything. HHH earned his spot until he started dating Stephanie which was what 2 years ago. Jarrett is nowhere near where HHH was or is now iin his injured self.

And face it: Trips isn't even a shell of his former self... in fact, he's a bloated, immobile, boss's-daughter-fucking, heatless (as far as live crowds go), egotistical nothing, who has to use a stupid
bounty storyline to keep himself in the title picture.
*sigh* Too bad marrying into the company with the knowledge that he'll inherit it someday isn't good enough for this jack-off.

Hmmm... that made me think... Macho Man may be the first one or maybe the last line of defense for Jimmy Hart and Hogan. Just wanted to throw that in.

I'm glad someone likes my sig and I know you enjoy the 4 people in it (Russo with the duel bird, Raven and Jarrett with the NWA World Title and of course The Franchise). I have two more TNA-related sigs, one with a bunch of wrestlers and one exclusively of TNA cage dancer Lollipop. I think you might love it, HA! They will premiere in a few weeks.
hth, you don't have METRO? You live in the tristate area right?
...
Courest of wrestlingobserver.com:
NWA TNA for Wednesday night has: AMW vs. Glenn Gilberti & David Young, Kid Kash vs. Abyss, Michael Shane vs. Sonjay Dutt for the X title, Raven vs. Vampiro in a hanging match, Kevin Northcutt & Ryan Wilson vs. Erik Watts & Don Harris and a mystery man coming from Jimmy Hart to get Jeff Jarrett. Rick Steiner was on "Get in the Ring" radio over the weekend and said he would be at the show."
Was "The Dog Faced Gremlin" Rick Steiner ever managed by Jimmy Hart? Hmmm... is this a wise move? Is this impact?

That guy is named Abyss formerly Justice in NWA-Wildside and in Puerto Rico. He is great in the ring and his Blackhole Slam is just devastating. He wore that mask for such a long ass time although he does look like a Kane-Mankind crossover.
Don't recall seeing Morrus. Pretty sure he is still signed by the WWE. Don Harris is alright I guess. He makes a solid security guard.
ps markster two scrubs from wcw are players.. diamond and swinger.. im mos def swinger was one.. im thinking diamond was.. am i wrong ? Nope... If I could find a picture online of hism flexing his arms in Trips fashion, its almost dead-on. His mic skills aren't too bad either. Maybe a future main eventer if pushed.

TNA E-Mail Exclusive
"The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart comments on last week's beating from Jeff Jarrett
TNA fans,
Have you ever had a leather belt hit your back so hard that it literally stuck in your flesh as the person whipping you yanked it back, just to whip you again?
Take a look at that picture of my back, baby. Then I want you to tell me that what you see on TV isn't real. The beating that Jeff Jarrett gave me last week was absolutely one of the worst I've ever gotten in all my years in this business. Yes, it hurt physically, but it also hurt mentally. The embarassment that that coward Jeff Jarrett caused me last week is going to be repaid tomorrow night on TNA.
That's right, baby. Tomorrow night on TNA I'm going to be back, and I'm going to be bringing backup. Can't tell you who it is yet, but let's just say that if Jeff gets through this week, there's plenty more waiting for him after that. For each lash he gave me with that belt, he's going to lose a pint of blood!
For those of you who never thought of me as a vicious, ruthless person, get ready for something new. Because Jimmy Hart is out for blood this week, baby!
Sincerely,
Jimmy Hart

wow those promos were awesome. I remember being like 7 and seeing those and knowing that JJ would be a cool heel. He definitely deserves his spot now after Vince pissed all over him for years. The only man who could've been used worse was Scott Hall (whose role was apparently to just hold the IC belt for months, never having a good storyline, and then dropping it to JJ and Goldust who were at least given satisfactory ones). Scott Hall could singlehandedly convince me to make sure I find I was to see TNA every week

I was actually kinda glad that those two came out. I kinda figured about Steiner, who was in the black hummer but Duggan was another thing. There could have been some other guys but alas nothing new.
One part that was funny was when Tenay tried to say that we have not seen Duggan in years and then Don West chimes in saying we haven't seen him in months. And Tenay went silent for a second and said oh yeah. HA! Don West rooned it!
After Hart's two surprises he announced Sting vs. Jarrett next week! I thought this angle would continue for a few weeks but we get the Sting. YES!

You're a great poster and a big TNA mark, but come on. How do you get excited for Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Rick Steiner? It's actually embarassing, especially when they are trying to establish themselves as teh anti wwe and going with all young talent. Steiner 2 were done over 5 years ago. DUggan was over 15 years ago.

I kinda figured I would have gotten pounded with that mark statement. And of course it was Eric and Matty, hehehe. I forgot I put that in when I posted it in the morning and it was too late for me to detract it cuz I had a busy day.
What I really meant was that Duggan and Steiner does know how to work the crowd. If any of you guys saw the PPV it was basically dead throughout that night but when those two arrived to challenge Jarrett, the TNA Asylum erupted with USA! USA! chants and the barking was killer. They got the crowd into it and that is why I didn't mind as much. I know they are both past their prime.
But think about it... who could Hart dig up that would give a super TNA impact... and is not currently signed by the WWE? Macho is still around and Warrior is still a huge wrestling name. That's about it really... besides Hogan.

It would have been more exciting to see Dino Bravo's rotting corpse than those two. First, Duggan in a limo? Maybe a '72 Gremlin. Hacksaw was great back in the UWF, but like many others who went to the WWF/E, the gimmick went overboard. The janitor thing in WCW didn't help either. I can't take the thumb in the air and yelling "HO' every 5 seconds and it doesn't matter who he's wrestling, he'll start the "USA" chant. Maybe I'm still pissed about the time he got arrested with his enemy the Iron Sheik. That ruined the illusion for me as a kid.
