It has come to light that NWA-TNA have cancelled their prospective "Bound For Glory" event in which Hulk Hogan was set to make his TNA debut.
The event, which will now be postponed until next year, was nixed when it was found that Hogan needed surgery on his knee after injuring it in his match against Masahiro Chono.

NWA-TNA had also experienced trouble attempting to find a big enough arena, after running into obstacles when trying to book an arena in Las Vegas due to Vegas' licensing laws.

That sucks to hear, Tiger Mask was supposed to be on that show as well.

i can't believe that Hogan not being there is enough to cancel the event. why do people still care about the guy...its not like he brought ratings back to the WWE his last run.

Because TNA doesn't have any big name stars to bring in people who don't already watch TNA. There's no mainstream appeal of a Rock, Stone Cold, etc.

This has to be a joke right? I know it has been reported in many websites but I'll wait till tonight to hear the official word.

This totally reeks... just reeks! I am sooo disappointed. Hogan would have been the main selling point and alas... I sure hope not.

It should be cancelled just for having a gay name. Oh well, I'm sure they'll do it early next year when Hulk is back.

In a way, this is a blessing in disguise. NWA TNA's first major PPV deserved a lot more hype and publicity than they were giving it. With proper buildup, this could be a major event. I believe that they have the talent to take it to the next level. They should not rush to have a 3 hour event just for the sake of having one. They need to slowly create it and build it up. If it doesn't happen until next year, so be it. I think that NWA TNA will eventually be the next big promotion. And they do not even need Hulk Hogan to do it.

Jimmy Hart in an in-ring interview, confirmed Hogan "HAS SIGNED WITH TNA!" That got a huge pop. Also that due to a knee injury he got, thanks to Jeff Jarrett's assault in Japan (hahaha!) the PPV and Bound for Glory will be rescheduled. Hogan will do his rehab and they will finally come to blows.

Ugh... it has been confirmed on TNA television and now I believe it. It's nice that they have included this as part of this continuing angle. Nice save TNA.
