I never did until recently. My parents went to England for a vacation and brought me back among other things, a pewter pen.

And this thing is BANGIN'! I leave it next to my comp to........well to write shit obviously.

So do you have a nice pen you take with you or keep in a special place?

yes, I own 2. I got a cool gold one from Hunter College's Honors Program and I have a cool like steel Mets pen, where it's got a black grip and when you look at the back of the pen (the opposite end from the tip) there's the Mets logo. So those are cool. I also have one from my grandfather but I don't actually use that one.

I don't have any expensive pens, but where I work we get occaisional free ones that look very classy. They're mostly from companies who send in samples to try and get our business. They work great too.

I've got a black and gold pen/pencil set that my grandfather gave me for my brithday years and years ago, but I don't like using those because they're so damn uncomfortable. My REAL "good" pen is one of those astronaut pens...I've had it for like 6-7 years now and it's still going strong.

One small good thing about getting the boot from my last company is that I'm keeping about 50 nice pens that I used to give out to clients and prospects.

Yeah, I have 1 Mont Blanc pen that I have managed not to lose. It writes awesome even upside down. Ive owned like 10 of them but always leave them places. i've managed to hang on to this one for a few years now

At work I use a Dr. Grip. When I was with INS I used to collect the nice pens from first class. Best airline pen, British Airways Concorde pens. I have 3.

I HAD a good pen and, stupid me, brought it to work. Someone wrote me a note and lifted it.

Personally, my favorite pen is the Mead medium point blue ink pen. Less than $6 for a dozen.

I'm a Paramedic and I'm CONSTANTLY using pens. I have one that i've been using for years that I just keep filling that i don't even know the brand of it anymore; it's worn off from heavy use. It's black & silver, thicker than most pens (better form on your fingers) and has a grip-tip.

I'll NEVER part with it, if i don't lose it first. I'll kill anybody who touches it! Get your own damn pen!!

i do but they arent "expensive" persay like 7 bucks a pen.. i just prefer those thick gel roller kind.. oh shit they write so smooth, only problem then tend to bleed through the paper.. but its well worth it

so you own the "good" umbrella? I have a theory that there are 100 umbrellas in the world and that people just lose one and find a new one a week later. My friend would always lose his umbrella, only to find one on the very same day he lost his. It was wierd.......

I've lost three Montblancs, but there is something about a handwritten note on good stationery written with a fountain pen that is just sublime. Getting one even better.

Interestingly, I bought two today, a Montblanc Meisterstuck in black resin with BB nib and a totally cool Starwalker resin fine liner. Of course there was a great story behind this impulsive purchase, but it's 2:21AM. Too Cute could probably do the story justice better than I could.
