Very good episode, I especially loved Chloe being locked inside the room. I was hoping she would stay there. Good episode - glad to see Sherry back. Was really pissed they showed us as much as they did for next week.

My initial prediciton is that Day 4 is going to take place right before the election I still want to stick with, but since Season 4 won't debut until after the real November elections, it won't be that timley.

Maybe President Palmer can take over CTU next season!

For me, all the episodes since the one where Ryan gets plugged in the back of the head has been a little bit of a let down. Still good - just tough to top that one.

I'm with Wadd - I don't like when they let things drag on too much. For the most part they are good about that, but the Tony thing could have been a little bit tighter. It's not like they are lacking different dramatic angles to cover (the virus is out, ferchristsake!)

I have a feeling the daughter will ultimately betray her father.

Awesome episode. In my mind it beats the Chappele getting whacked one. I especially loved it when Jack told Michelle to be re-captured. The action scene in the end was fantastic, they marine plane droppin the missile was very cool. Previews looked solid, gonna be interesting how the Palmer thing gets wrapped up and whats going to happen when they try to drag Jane into the hotel with all the infected people.

The phone rang, Saunders told Tony where to meet but Jack told Tony to arrange for a different place because they needed time to get the strike team into position so Jack hung up the phone on Saunders and told Tony that he will call back...Tony got pissed off and started back to the car and told Jack that hes not gonna sacrifice his wife like Jack did...then Saunders called back before Tony got into the car and they arranged for a different drop off point...thats about it...

As far as the guy who got out, they quarantined all of the infected zones, people did get infected, i.e. Adam's sister.

The episode was great, probably tops the Chappelle being capped episode and last weeks, but I bet the finale is going to be f'n amazing...either that or it will very disappointing but Im gonna bet on the former. Sherry getting knocked the fuck out was priceless. When they got the guy in the subway I thought it was pretty obvious that he wasnt the real deal, but thats about the only thing I didnt like.

However if anyone saw the previews, Saunders says all they did was for nothing and you see Jack and Chase trying to disarm the bomb, so now I totally cant wait for the finale.

I don't remember President Palmer doing anything too questionable during the first two "days", but "today" he's all over the place, covering shit up. I guess that job does this to people no matter how clean they are when they start. I admired Dennis Haysbert's portrayal of a president that actually serves the people and doesn't lie to them.

Our real president lied to us about a fucking turkey. If aliens are watching 24 and CNN from space they may not know which president was real. The would think this "W" show is some weird ass comedy.

24 is my favorite show, but a move to Mondays would suck. it would have to be Tivoed. Monday is the only day a week i get the controller and its turned into my night...i drink/smoke and have a good time as my wife goes to bed early because she hates wrestling. i can't give that up. my wife really likes 24 also, so i have to watch it with her. at least when i play it on Tuesday i will have no commercials.

I hate it when they move a show you love around like that. What's the point of the move to Monday? I would bitch about it being up against wrestling, but I already feel myself slipping away from that like I did in the early 90s...I may not even be watching by then.

I guess we can expect a TON of commercials during the last month or two of NFL football on FOX. Remember the 2001 World Series? I almost never watched this show because I was so fucking tired of seeing the commercials before it ever hit the air. True, the delay caused by 9-11-01 had something to do with the extra ad time, but still, you couldn't go ONE SINGLE commercial break without seeing it.

Anyway, January...I hope this doesn't get like the Sopranos did before season 4 where they told us it would be a long layoff & everyone got upset. Then it turned into an intollerably long wait & a sub-par season.

This might be my own personal biases coloring my memory, but I think I remember something from Season 1, either mentioned on the show or the fake campaign posters that were on 24's website, that said he was a Democrat. But I believe they are trying to keep him non-partisan.

Actually, it would. I remember seeing Palmer's "bio" on the "24" website and it claimed that as a Senator he was a member of the Armed Services and/or Intelligence committees. You may recall that he knew Jack from his OPS in Bosnia against Victor Drazen -- Senator Palmer had oversight and knowledge of these missions. Jack and Palmer referred to this a couple of times in each season.

At the end, when they went to the four-pane shot, I was waiting for Jack's nose to start bleeding. When he scrunched up face starting to cry, that's when I thought the blood was coming.

Great episode, and stuff wraps up like I said.

No matter what, Chase can't be a field op again, and yes, Michelle's security clearance would probably be affected by the fact that her husband committed treason. Even if she didn't do anything wrong, the shadow of doubt that would be cast on her would be a breach of national security, and she couldn't have the same clearance. Ergo, no CTU.

Chase and Kim can go have handless babies that get threatened by cougars.

good point. Kinda reminds me of that scene in Equalibrium. When Cleric Bale is hooked up to that polygraph machine and the needles are going all crazy, then totally stop all of a sudden then he starts kicking ass with no emotion getting in the way.

But for the upcoming season I hear they will be playing all 24 episode in a row (1 a week without a break) since it's a late starting season.

Regarding Reiko Aylesworth, you guys do realize that CSI appearance was probably a one shot deal.

At the end, she said she couldn't handle it and walked out. I was bummed because I was so glad to see her again considering she's not coming back to 24.
Oh well, here's to hoping she finds another series soon.
