Maybe I should, this place is dead.

Don't think like that, some nights this board is jumping with activity and others it's not. Some nights you can be on fire and others whatever you post seems to suck. It's just what happens. Take it as it comes and move on.

Just knock off the "stop being mean" crap, every new person gets a little ribbing, that's all there is to it. Keep posting and let people know who you are and get to know you. Don't be over the top, just be you and people will accept you. Unless of course you plan on having a fit in a few days and leave the board forever like so many pussies have.

Enjoy your time on the board. There's many many great folks here.

I havent posted in like 4 days, and all of a sudden there's 50 threads started by some guy I've never heard of.

Start off slow, it never works when you try and bombard people with threads. It hasn't worked for you, it didn't work for solees, and i think johneewadd tried it too. It doesnt work.

If you have a legitimate tread, go for it. Don't just start posting away.

And as far as all the hate, most of it is just ball-busting, but some of it I'm sure is actual hate.

Thats the attitude that people dont like. The fact that you think your doing us a favor by posting.

The sad fact is that the board would continue to operate as normal if you stopped posting.

All I'm saying is pace yourself. Save some of the threads for another day, another time.

That being said, there is definately a hierarchy to the board. A new member has to earn respect. Whereas someone like Moe can have some bad posts and he wont catch too much flack because of his reputation. Not that Moe ever has bad posts, so I guess thats a bad example

No, starting tons of useless threads wont go over no matter who you are.

And if moe began to use a different screen name, he would get the same treatment as everyone else did when they were new. Unless of course we knew it was him.

Like I said earlier, respect on this board has to be earned. It is stupid, and it turns away a lot of new people, but thats the way it is. I dont feel like being nice to people.
