Madden 2004 question

ok i went to use the 82 chargers and it said they were locked.... now i have called the number there not there and the damn audimated system didnt work.. and i know it is in historic mode but how di i play the game from that...so you guys are my only allteritive......

You probably have to unlock them by earning Madden cards. The historical teams suck anyways, they don't have the players names and the numbers aren't even correct for the players.

duke im gonna help ya. you should have the madden challenge feature on, if not, turn it on. everytime you play any type of game or anything, you earn points. with those points, in your profile screen, you can buy packs of madden cards, and can also earn them through playin good and doin mini camp events. thats the only way to get cards, and an 82 chargers card is what you need to unlock them

snoogs is correct. but i have my own advice for earning tokens for madden cards. play the 2 minute drill, play as the colts offense, against any of NFL Europes defense. you should rack up 150 tokens every 2 minutes, that is, if your good. the madden challenge in games takes too long, a 5 minute quarter game takes up 20 minutes of your time and if your good you will earn 400 tokens in that time. its quicker my way.

oh and some advice: manning to harrison is the untouchable qb-wr combo in the game.

While I never played the current game I do know that "Madden" has been the top notch football game for the last decade. With that said I am very surprised this product could be so unprofessional and half ass as to confuse players numbers and not even have the names. There are a lot of people like myself that would be terribly bothered by such gross negligence. That's just an awful job by "Madden".

well there are about 100 historical teams and therefore putting everyone's name in the game would make it impossible for them to put out a game every year. Let's put things in perspective: EA Sports puts out a kickass football game every year and ultimately they are the most reliable franchise of games for any system. I think I can play as the 85 Bears and have #32 in the backfield rather than Walter Payton.
