well Buckner didn't have a history of letting balls get past him (teehee) against the Mets. Pedro did have a history of letting the Yankees jizz all over him. And I don't blame Pedro, there are just some pitchers who can't beat a certain team. Grady Little had 4 oppurtunities to pull Pedro, when he was in trouble, let alone the fact that he should've pulled Pedro after 6 no matter what and let Wakefield finish the job. Congrats to those damn Yankees, and I might feel some respect for Aaron Boone now, even after he bailed on his father. Still none for his Yankee-cock-sucking brother though.

I feel your pain AJnDC. There are a lot of Fair Weather Fans in NY. It's easy to like a winning team. But I have always been a fan of the Yankees even thought I have never been a sports guy. I just never felt the need to catch EVERY game of any sport and keep up on stats. I just used to love watching the Yankees and went to a few games as a kid.

And to tell you the truth, this fucking YES network thing has REALLY pissed me off. JUST this year I started to get a lot more interested in watching Yankees games and now it's a seperate channel that until recently wasn't carried in my area. And my family won't pay the like 2 bucks a month for it now. Cheap pricks.

I don't know....I myself am a diehard whose family has had season tickets for 20 years. We went through the Stump Merril and Dallas Green years and now it's worth it. Well, I tried to read the whole thread, but it's still too fresh, and it's too hard. For those of you saying Boston is blaming the curse (already), the only people I hear saying that word (as of yet) are Yankee fans--and friggin players. I was at work watching the game and I had just said to the guy next to me, "man this sucks..it's just down to a battle of luck, or who fucks up 1st, " when Boone came to bat. Yankee fans, you lucked out BIG TIME. No curse, just a senile manager, who should not only get fired, but also pay Pedro's fine.
