They were the mystery tag team that Gilberti brought in to face his NWA World Champions, Simon and Swinger and did they impress. They did all their trademark moves (Wham, Bam, Thank You Mam, Roadkill's duel clothesline from the top rope, Dirt Road Slam) and it seemed like they didn't lose a beat. The crowd loved it and a solid ECW chant erupted throughout the encounter. They eventually won via the Guillotine Leg Drop by the Dastardly One which is basically the same as AMW's finisher.

Gilberti was soo pissed at the turn of events that next week the two same teams will face off... but this time for the NWA World Tag Team Titles! The last ECW World Tag Team Champions vs. the current NWA World Tag Team Champions! Should be some fun indeed! If TNA hasn't done it yet, sign them up now!

EC-Dub! Ec-Dub!

What did you think of the Dastardly One and The Angry Amish Warrior's performance? Do you think they have a chance to win the titles from Gilberti's boys? Will AMW try to interfere? Will Mr. Lackey aka David Young mess up and screw Simon/Swinger out of their titles?

i caught this last night, and must say was impressed. Although i'm not a big fan of Danny Doring, i hope they take the belts from Diamond & Swinger. But as i say this i know it won't happen just like how The Fallen Angel didn't get the X Division Title

No question, one of the greatest tag-teams in wrestling history. Certainly one of the oddest pairings.

Danny Doring owns...end of story Yes, go Dastardly One! Although he was a little rusty in the match while Roadkill was like his ole ECW self.

Okay, may not be the greatest, but they sure were and probably will be again, an awesome fan favorite team.

I was thinking this same thing last night while I was watching the dreck that is the WWE OOPS! Smacxkdown! (bah!) PPV. I really do not want to lose my passionate love for watching wrestling and the WWE is doing that. Granted Cena/Angle, Hardy/Zach and Mysterio/Tajiri were great, the rest of the PPV was just so.....FLAT! I used the Acolytes match to make a sandwich run. Vince and Steph had me cringing. Where are the "heel" announcers?!? Is everyone buddy buddy now?

I know it is what, $20 a PPV but at least once of twice a month to watch some good quality wrestling may just be the ticket. From everything I have read RFM say about TNA it looks more promising and more promising and now with Roadkill and Doring it just looks better. It seems to me as if TNA is one step (aka a WCW "NWO Invasion" circa 1996 step) away from truning the wrestling world on its ears and giving fans some good quality programming and matches every week.

Is there any word on when and if TNA will ever go head to head with WWE to give them a run for their money?

One can only hope.

I surely hope TNA will rekindle your love for wrestling. It is on METRO, their Velocity type show called TNA Explosion is on METRO at 5PM Saturdays.

Where are the "heel" announcers?!? Is everyone buddy buddy now? TNA doesn't do WWE better. They have the very knowledgeable Mike Tenay and ugh Don West. I still don't know why Scott Hudson hasn't replaced him at the announcer's booth yet. That is some shocker.

Is there any word on when and if TNA will ever go head to head with WWE to give them a run for their money?I have my TNA sources and they are telling me that Hogan maybe the clincher into having them on basic cable but who knows. But they prefer not to go head-to-head until they have really established themselves and gotten a tour date.

One can only hope. Yup fn, I'm a wishin, a hoping and a praying too bud. :D

Last I checked I was wishing to want to watch wrestling, not fireworks. I like the idea of semi low budget and it seems like there is so much more focus on wrestling. Thats what I want to watch, WRESTLING!

I don't know if I can get Metro cause my cable system stinks. I'll have to "check my local listings" too see when it is on.

Well morst viewers of wrestling nowadays expect everything bigger and better at least I know you are more about wrestling than the whole sphere of what is sports-entertainment.

I don't know if I can get Metro cause my cable system stinks. I'll have to "check my local listings" too see when it is on. Okay, hopefully you can. I thought METRO was basically on all New York based cable services. Guess I was wrong.

TNA Xplosion is cool and at least you can see highlights of the PPVs, exclusive postmatch interviews and shortened for television Xplosion matchups (similar to that of Velocity and WWF Superstars back in the day).

There is also TNA DVDs on sale on their official website. Check it out and maybe that will help you wet your wrestling love appetite once again. Mine is seeing Stacy down a cold one as her shirt gets kinda soaked, oh helll yeaaahhhh!

I liked it when she got stunned and when she gets beaten violently. I do not like Stacy one bit. I have though seen tht the girls in TNA are quite nice eye candy.

Hahah nice fn.

Which one... the cage dancer, Lollipop? She actually whipped them out good 10-15 seconds against Hollywood in the pinnacle of S.E.X. You missed her beautiful cans, hehehe.

You still watch Raw?

Gawd, you disappoint me, RFM. Yeah sadly I do. I still need my wrestling fix eventhough it is from VinnyLand. I also watch CMLL on weekends as well as TNA if thatt makes you feel better? :p

It is on Time Warner Channel 70 in Queens at 5PM Saturdays and CMLL is on Galavision at a couple of times.

That'd be all Peachy keen if I lived in NY, but I don't.

Let me clarify: DAMN you Time Warner Cable-Fox Cities (WI)!

Not bad. Not bad at all.

I was mildly ipressed and enjoyed myself. Thew action was non-stop and the storyline layover until next week is pretty good. I guess I picked as good of a night to start with Jimmy Hart showing up and it looks like this will build up a Jarrett/Hogan feud?!? Raven/Vampiro looks awesome for next week and where do i remember James Mitchell from? Is there any others I should recognize besides Roadkil/Doring, AJ Styles and Kid Kash? Yes RFM the finger is pointing in your direction!

Last night, the Dastardly One and The Angry Amish Warrior sadly lost out to Gilberti's boys, Simon and Swinger. Although TNA gave them theme music and that dry ice/smoke entrance, I hope this doesn't means that they are gone from TNA. Hopefully, they'll be back asking for a rematch. Maybe they will join the New Franchise? Actually an Amish dude would probably kill the cool Franchise faction.

You mentioned alot of the positives but what about Sonjay Dutt? AMW? The Naturals? Siaki/Ekmo/Legend? How about yeah... the entertaining 3LK? What about Fallen Angel? Sabin? I'll ignore Michael Shane... ugh. He wouldn't be in TNA if he wasn't related to HBK.
