Ron and Fez alluded to a good ratings book. Does anyone have specifics? The only thing I was able to find were general numbers for the station overall.

The ratings are up!!!!!! I spoke to Ronnie last night in the money demo they are up to #3 in men 25 -54. He was not sure of the exact numbers but we are just behind the urban stations. Great news for the boys.

Thanks for clearing that up Jaftah! GREAT NEWS!! You can tell from the number of calls that people really are catching on.
I hope they keep up the pressure for that mid-day spot.
DOWN WITH O'REILLY!

This is great news! Good work R+F and DC listeners. Hopefully, things will continue to grow and we can get a Syndication Now movement going for the boys.
See Ya!

Here's your Howard question UPD.
Junkies (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A27080-2003Oct14.html)
<snip> In summer radio ratings compiled by radio-rater Arbitron Inc., the Junkies found themselves tied for fourth place with Stern, with a 5.6 rating among 18-to-34-year-old listeners for their time slot and closing in on Elliot's show on DC-101, which drew 8 percent of those listeners. Last summer, Stern commanded that audience with 11.6 percent; Elliot followed with 9.7. And WHFS-FM -- which took the Junkies from their evening slot over at WJFK and put them on the air last October -- was pulling in a lowly 2.1. </snip>

As an aside "Smokey Rivers" ( is there a more gay radio name?) has been named PD of Blink.

Fantastic!
I guess it's true that they just needed some time to settle in.

i know this isnt to do with R & F in DC, but i thought it would be nice for everyone to see the station rankings for the NY market, including Krock and Blink
KROCK is beat by a few stations here, but blink is doin stellar with its 0.9 share

Every time I see stories about Blink's ratings, GMs and PDs, it just puts a smile on my usually neutral face.

Just caught this on DCRTV:
Isabel Good To TOP - 12/15 - WPGC-FM, WMMJ, and WTOP take the top three spots in the DC radio monthly Arbitrends. All-news TOP gets a ratings bump with Hurricane Isabel coverage, due to all of those powerless folks listening on battery-powered radios, from summer's 5.2 to a 5.5 share now.
Other full-week, age 12+ demo rankings: 4)WGMS, 5) WKYS, 6) WHUR, 7) WJZW, 8) WMZQ and WBIG, 10) WASH, 11) WIHT, 12) WMAL, 13) WWDC, 14) WJFK-FM and WRQX, 16) WWZZ/WWVZ, 17) WARW, 18) WHFS, 19) WTEM, 20) WAVA. AM drive: 1) WTOP, 2) WPGC-FM, 3) WMMJ, 4) WKYS, 5) WGMS, 6) WRQX, 7) WBIG, 8) WMAL and WMZQ, 10) WJFK-FM.
PM drive: 1) WPGC-FM, 2) WTOP, 3) WMMJ, 4) WKYS, 5) WGMS, 6) WJZW, 7) WJFK-FM, 8) WIHT, 9) WMZQ and WBIG.
In the age 25-54 demo, WMAL's morning team ranks a rather miserable 19th in AM drive, with WTOP in 1st. WHFS's Junks rank 14th. WJFK-FM's Don and Mike place third in PM drive, behind WPGC-FM and WMMJ.
Midday, Dr. Laura/Rush Limbaugh on WMAL take 15th, to 12th place for Ron and Fez/Bill O'Reilly on WJFK-FM.....
