View Full Version : Sonjay Dutt to finally debut on TNA this week!

It was mentioned on the official TNA preview that the incredible Sonjay Dutt is going to be involved in an X-Division Tag Match with 3 currently unknown wrestlers (trying to get Teddy Hart for that match but travel is always an issue).
If you have never heard of him, you will. He ranks up right there with X-Division standouts like CM Punk, Teddy Hart, Amazing Red, Juvi, Paul London, Low-ki, Jerry Lynn, Kid Kash and Jason Cross!
He is a native of Bombay, India. Some of the weapons in his arsenal are the Calcutta (Handspring Spinkick), the Sonjay Star Press (Standing Shooting Star Press) and the scintillating Bombay Splash (a fucking Phoenix Splash variation)! You will be amazed... you will be amazed! He has only been wrestling for a few years but has held numerous titles and hopefully he'll be a mainstain in TNA.
If you can, tune into TNA this week! This may be the match of the night (if given more than 10 minutes)!

So that means he sucks.
I saw him two times recently and although he had some impressive stuff frow what I saw, I'm not overwhemed by him.
and hopefully he'll be a main<b>stain</b> in TNA.
Only if he misses a landing.

Tell me you weren't impressed by "The Original Playa from the Himalaya?" Did you see how he lit up the crowd with his innovative X-style? What was your thoughts on him? What about the Hindu whatever aka Bombay Splash? What can you say? Does he wear springs on the bottom of his boots? TNA definitely needs to bring back the spotfest to the X-Title like it was in its former inception. The current one is a little too bland for my taste (Shane is lacking, Kazarian isn't really doing much these days and Sabin is a solid technician and all but not many of the spotfests we expect from the innovative X-Division).
The match turned out to be with no Teddy Hart sadly but had "Showtime" Eric young, El Fugo and Jerelle Clark that turned it up a few notches. The crowd was pretty much into the match throughout and did you see "Mr. 630" hit up an amazing 630 (combo of shooting star and a 450)?

Sonjay Dutt may have lost last week to the Notorious K.I.D. via a toprope Nail in the Coffin (SICK BUMP!) but this week he gets a shot at the current TNA X-Division Champion Michael Shane and the title? What the...? Are TNA being serious... although I love his image, gimmick and ability, isn't it a tad early to get a shot? At least he is an athletic wrestler unlike the quite boring Shane.
Although this match will probably steal the shouw... somehow I figure that there will be a run-in thanks to Fallen Angel or Sabin or maybe the Franchise. Just a hunch.

Michael Shane made their X-Division Title match non-title thanks to someone that "advised" him not to because Dutt is still unproven?!? Oh yeah, like you are anything special. You lack wrestling ability, lackluster mic skills and you stole HBK's taunts and his Sweet Chin Music! It seems as though he maybe part of The New Franchise?!? God no!
Well the match was bland thanks to Shane but saved by a lot of high spots thanks to Dutt. Dutt loses to Shane via rollup with a handful of tights. That has happened for the past few weeks in his matches... ugh and maybe a Super Kick thrown into his crap.
Michael Shane should be called "Mr. Opportunist!" He blows like the Bashams and doesn't deserve anything in the business. If he wasn't related to HBK, he would not even be on an independent show for goodness sakes! Get rid of him already!
PS: I can hate something about TNA. I know, what a surprise. I am not that much of a TNA-mark.
