I'm sure the News got a boner when they heard about it. The two papers have been in pissing contest with each other for years. I'm sure the Post is going to pretty generous once word gets around.

I also figure it's a worthwhile organization. I don't have a lot of money to spare, but I figured I'd send them a couple of bucks.

i just have to say, the newspaper war in the city is histerical. the papers cream at getting a chance to fuck another paper, and the papers constantly battle for readers and good stories. i think alot of important news items go unpublished cause of that. where i live, you basically get the bergen record, and since they dont have competition to worry about, i think it makes for a more informitive paper

Journalist wanted a scoop. Found said scoop. Honestly thought he could handle 4lb cub ("It's like a kitten, right?"). Got overwhelmed. Left it at Noah's Lost Ark thinking it would get good care.

I think they guy's heart was in the right place. I'm just glad that the whole trade of exotic animals was exposed. The cub was bought "for the right price" and yet, was taken away from his mother far too early. I have to admit if it weren't for this reporter, who knows where that cub would have wound up.

Oh, and my check is in the mail!
