First of all, HAPPY COLUMBUS DAY BUDDAYS!!! Now, I'm not sure how long this has been going on, but it came to my attention Sunday that there are 2 Columbus Day parades in Manhattan; one Hispanic Columbus Day Parade (on Sunday), and one Italian Columbus Day Parade (on Monday). Both parades use pretty much the same route. Cant we all just agree to honor this man on the day that God (or whoever was president when the day was made official) intended??? WHY do we feel it necessary to split it up into 2 different parades? Cant the wops and spics celebrate something they have in COMMON? Cant we all? Someone please explain to me why the city allows this to occur.

For those of you keeping score, according to National Geographic, Celtic Monks discovered North America 4 centuries before the Vikings (and actually landed on the Eastern coast of the United States, not the Caribbean like other so-called exploreers). yeah i was gonna say something like what NYD just said. Where's the asshole who was dissing the Irish now?

I think that there are two parades because of the ignorant Italians (only the ignorant ones) who somehow have adopted Columbus day as theirs. The Italians called Columbus crazy, the Spanish actually were responsible for his expedition. I also have heard that Columbus was fucking the Spanish queen (Isabella?), but that could've been someone lying to me....
